Priest of the Catholic Church are well taken care of. What the priest did subconsciously is to teach the act of giving to your neighbors not necessarily when called to give.

It's still wrong

Why not ask directly if there are members that can assist others with 5k

In govt, if you collect money for textbooks but use it to cut grass in your office, it's called misappropriation of funds

Catholic is indeed unique..... n this priest just did something dat really touch my heart. This is an example of Christ demonstration about the sheep n the Goat.

Am not a religious person but I try to be righteous and am proudly Catholic

I also hate evil deeds under any pretense and those that support or enable evil either by proxy or directly.

see, I wanted to reply and correct you properly why the priest had to use that format..but you see I'm tired and resti.. someday Sha..but for now,check out the story of the offering giver Jesus Christ himself witnessed in the synagogue ,the POOR widow last dime versus the arrogant, noisy, notice - me RICH Fivers! while you at that,check out the biblical example of POOR lazarus and the Rich Fools who finally ended up in HELL and begging POOR lazarus to help cool his burning asshole with just a drop of water on his tongue!while you at still perusing that,check out the story of Nicodemus ,another RICH FOOL who cant give of his wealth !tead those stories and learn! yo knows how those so called rich make their monies?you thinlk e clean? Lol.. it's much more easier for a Camel to pass through the eyes of a needle for most of these wicked rich werey to get anywhere near heaven!

The priest made them to do what they wouldn't have done naturally or freely by using himself as asking for help and idiots hypocrite and charlatans readily fell for it cheesy

This is totally different. Impressive! Oledepo and Oyatieflome woulda pocketed all the money and tell them God will bless them and gullible fools will go home without their 5ks and the hungry ones who needs the 5k will home still hungry. The only person that will go home with so called blessing (the money) would be the crooked pastor.
