Spy360: Jesus was supposed to bring fresh energy into the game but he later fumbled . I wished it was sterling that came in instead of Jesus sef. |

BlueRayDick: Yeah, he owned the assist but that goal looks more like Calafiori goal than the assist. Also it had to be said that we exploited the situation quickly from that free kick as Man City were settling and Walker was speaking to the ref What's paining me against Martinelli ystdy was that he felt like a mismatch Vs Walker. Man most times even gave up trying when competing against him in any duels. It was just his defensive masterclass I appreciate cos it was really needed ystdy but as an outlet, he really fumbled |

Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: Finally Reborn! The Red & White Army: FA CUP Champions 2020 by Jodera: 6:22am On Sep 23 |
Spy360:He messed up with that corner quite all right but then I believe there is this confidence in our team that we're no longer conceding goals through corner so we're not afraid to give it out. Most of our Corners ystdy, Timber was always alert for either the short corner Man City might want to take or if it's the other side, then Calafiori. I believe it was MLS that switched off (probably due to inexperience) and that gave them the impetus to pass that ball into the dangerous zone in our 18yard box. With Timber ystdy, we would never had conceded that late heartbreaking goal 1 Like |

Jodera: I agree Martinelli wasn’t all that yesterday attack-wise , but if we will be truthful to ourselves there’s no way we could’ve shown any attacking intent with city laying siege on our box for the second 45minutes of the game . I believe if the game had entered second half with Arsenal having 11 men on the pitch , we would’ve caught them off guard again. That being said , kudos to everyone that played their part. I’m not even bothered by rival fans parroting all sorts of nonsense and making permutations about our performance in the game. The people that matter have given their opinion about the game and it is word of admiration for our resilience 2 Likes 1 Share

BlueRayDick: It’s even difficult for any premier league winger to get the most of Walker. Rashford gives up before coming up against him even when he was fast and strong. E no easy |

First half against Walker was good for Martinelli, he tried some take ons and always pass the ball. Right from that first half he always track back to defend against savinho when he noticed he was having it so easy with Cala, I can't count one successful dribble by savinho whenever Martinelli marked him, But once he sees Cala otilor. Then second half almost all our chances was directed to him, he will make the run and before he gets to the ball, City don take am. Running that forth and back without touching the ball can be really tiring. When I knew he was really tired was when a ball went off for throwing and he first held his head before holding his waist. These player are not Machines, Mbappe and Vinicius doesn't have it easy with Walker na overworked Martinelli wan come do am effortlessly. At some point it was just fun for Walker cus he knows that after the run with the ball na just a little contact is needed to dispossess Martinelli. 2 Likes |

When you see a well drilled team it's the manager. Can we all now accept that Arteta was right about not needing a striker? Three tough away games and we almost came out with 9points. Without our best player Odegaard for two of those games. Arteta deserves his flowers 3 Likes 1 Share |

daveP: There's a technique about that Calafiori goal that shows he actually knows what he's doing. I believe we will see more of such stunning goals going forward. |

Spy360:I don't know what other fans might be saying, but you're right. Spurs game, if our forwards were deadly enough, that match would have produced more goals for us. Against City I believe the late introduction of skelly tempered with the backline setting a bit. |

BlueRayDick:You and spy360 are ungrateful ingrates. Jesus was the best defender in final minutes tracking back and frustrating mancity on the wings |

BlueRayDick:I wasn't even talking about the 2nd half. It would be inconsiderate of me to criticize his attacking game 2nd half cos of the situation that happened. I was mostly talking about first half. Maybe I was expecting too much from him sha seeing that it Walker but on the other side, Saka was making moves and creating space. As for the game ystdy, na only people wey bias go dey yarn nonsense. Any true lover of football would know what we did ystdy wasn't easy at all hence will surely give us our kudos. By the way, how do you see Trossard as our no10 ystdy before the red. I felt he was impressive in that role |

Shegzdave:The way he moved towards that pass and with the way he adjusted his body, I knew something would happen. The weyrey Olivia almost blocked his view sef. That was a good goal. |

Shegzdave:Funny enough just weeks ago BBC drop an article about the death of long range shots and it was as if the players read it After the international break we are now seeing some pile driving shots and majority of them are from left footers We the best |
Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: Finally Reborn! The Red & White Army: FA CUP Champions 2020 by Shegzdave: 11:26am On Sep 23 |
mostob:Yeah, the technique was superb, very nice goal, if he can be trying that especially against against low block like Everton and rest of them, it would be so nice to have a new Xhaka Olivia was just the weapon fashioned against us yesterday 1 Like |
Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: Finally Reborn! The Red & White Army: FA CUP Champions 2020 by Shegzdave: 11:30am On Sep 23 |
iamoyindamola:BBC aren’t lying about the article and it’s one thing I like our players to do often esp against low block teams, it’s not Everytime you enter box to score, Ordegarrd tries it sometimes though with precision but I need someone that do it often when we’re in need of goals Those left footers are good with shot, even Xhaka is a leftie, even Ordegarrd that tries it is also a leftie and Saka that has score couple of goals from outside shot is also a leftie |

Spy360:Didn't want to talk about this initially but you brought it up. Getting a striker (esp like Osimhen or Gyokeres) is the differences between us not getting all 15points. Someone like Gyokeres/Osimhen would have converted that Havertz chance against Brighton and against Man City ystdy, we would have been more deadly winning aerial balls during the 2nd half something Havertz was really dominated on. Osimhen especially would have been a menace against those defenders ystdy with his endless running through channels and aerial duels. I'm even certain there would have been a Torres against Barca deja Vu sef. But yeah, Arteta deserves he flowers the way he set us up both times when we were a man down. All credits to him and the players |

Last season, this stupid Michae Oliver said the reason why he didn't send Kovacic off was because he didn't want to spoil the game of such magnitude. Even though Kovacic two fouls was red card and yellow card worthy in that match. Same him sent off Trossard ystdy even though it's the same teams playing and the same high stake match. What's even more annoying was that when Trossard kicked the ball away, it was almost the same time he was whistling for the foul which meant that Trossard wasn't even trying to delay restart.(since he didn't play it after the whistle). They should just jejely give Man City the league make everybody go rest cos it's really annoying. Man City on their own are beasts. With the aid of refs, then what the hell are we competing for?? 1 Like |

Lush100: This is why I don't want to say anything yet to those rival fans dancing macabre dance here and there chatting shiii. I want them to play their own respective tough games let us see how they will fare . Under Emery and later stage of Wenger's days we would've lost two or three of those matches up there. 3 Likes |

BlueRayDick:Na dat mentality to always win and the attitude they put into it that I find so beautiful. Both coaches you mentioned would have lost the game with the way City came all out from the 46 minute. The fact that the draw felt like a loss to us and win to City shows that the shit from Rodri and Bernado na trash. 1 Like |
