TotoNaRubber: Just got this mail from my stockbroker Dear Sir, Thank you for your email. We sincerely apologize for the delay in the payment of your coupon. We have received the below feedback from CSCS this morning with regards to the payment. We are having issues with the confirmation of funds for all coupon payments from the CBN. Hopefully, this will be resolved today. Thank you. |

emmasoft: 1. Do I need domiciliary account before investing in a dollar fund? 2. If no, how will I get the dollar if I want to redeem? 3. Can I fund it with US credit card or debit card? Thank you |
Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by emmasoft(m): 7:19pm On Sep 19 |
Onboard1: 1. Yes, you need it. The investment is a dollar-denominated mutual fund, so you need a domiciliary account to receive your money (interest /capital) whenever you want to withdraw or get paid your dividends. 2. The answer is in No. 1 3. Funding can be done via wire transfer or cash deposit into our collection account. Only transfer or cash deposits of the USD are currently available to fund. 1 Like |

Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by emmasoft(m): 10:42pm On Sep 19 |
DAramis: @DAramis, there is no conflict. Both posts are correct. Just contact me when you are ready to invest in the fund. Thank you. |

The money don enter voicemail. Even if that was the case, they had at least 90 days to verify receiving accounts but still made mistake, what does that tell you ? Imagine the millions of investors, the interest rate on N50b minimum multiplied by two weeks is already N14.5 million for the criminals efismikoko: 1 Like |

TotoNaRubber: There is ZERO chance of a default. The delay is due to a glitch or someone's incompetence. -Lord 4 Likes |
Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by emmaodet: 11:34am On Sep 20 |
LordAdam16: Rather than default, they will print more money and pay since it is a local currency denominated investment. Agreed, it will cause more inflation which I believe they are fearing. Where the wahala dey is the dollar denominated investment since they will have to generate dollars by fire by force to pay that and that is a determinant of what the country generates as revenue unlike naira investment they can just go inside and print more papers to bail themselves out 2 Likes |

Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by DAramis: 12:38pm On Sep 20 |
emmasoft:I am ready to invest, but just wanted to be sure before reaching out. If I have naira only, how can I go ahead to invest? Will I be charged black market rate for dollar-naira before investing? Please If you could give more information on this, I will be grateful |
Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by emmasoft(m): 1:50pm On Sep 20 |
DAramis: The naira deposit is just to encourage those who find it difficult to get dollars for investment. This comes with some sacrifice - the company will give you a rate a little more than the black market and that rate will be real-time ie the day of the investment. Indirectly the investor is asking the company to source for dollars, hence you pay a little more. However, the account opening which comes first is free. Like I said earlier, you can get in touch. |

IYGEAL: Wow when was this paid please the one for 13th has not yet come o |
Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by freeman67: 6:51am On Sep 23 |
IYGEAL: Yes but they are still some not yet paid.. I know of 3YR FGSB OFFER FOR SEPTEMBER 2021 which matured on the 15/09/2024. The last coupon was supposed to be paid on that day along with the principal but it wasn't. In fact only the principal was paid after like 3 days of maturity. I heard last month payments were delayed too. So, something is definitely not right. |
Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by efismikoko(m): 7:20am On Sep 23 |
