What's propelling fidelity and how far can it go?
@bullbearmkt, what's your chart saying?

NASCON and DANGSUGAR are on a long-term trajectory as predicted; forget about a merger this year. Have you asked why the previous move was disqualified? Rice is yet to generate revenue; it's not even listed yet. There's no time left; maybe next year's second quarter. DANGSUGAR may produce another negative result. I suggest using the money to grow elsewhere, then come back later while you still can. Forget about the refinery; Dangote Refinery is a different entity from Dangote Sugar. The most the refinery will do is lend money with interest to Dangote Sugar. One will not automatically help the other; that's not how public companies operate. You can hate me or shut me down all you want, but like you, I am free to air my views. grin grin shocked

But you are making sense to me

And Ellah Lakes kicked off with 10% on the next trading day. Missed out on this. And it is one the stocks that got a lot of attention on NSMPA. Wish those on board a safe journey. Nigeria needs a lot of entrepreneurial ventures to unlock its comparative advantages and unleash its potential.

Fidelity created a new high early January this year before sellers dragged price down below 8.20 in June. From June, the stock has been enjoying robust patronage from smart monies. After the balance transactions completed last 2 weeks, the price has started a rise with a close above Jan high.

U re right. After DangSugar last result,
I sold all my DangSugar @ N37 and use all the proceeds to buy additional Zenith Bank @ N34.
I even got more shares of Zenith than the shares of DangSugar I had.
It was a smart move.
Have received interim dividend on the added Zenith shares, Will still receive FY dividends on them. And presently, the shares are even worth more than the DangSugar I sold in market price.
I had to make the move to avoid not receiving any dividend on my DangSugar shares for the 2nd year running as likely DangSugar may not pay dividend this year too.
Did a similar thing recently by offloading my 7 digits holding in FBNH at N31.90 and bought additional UBA at N23.95/N24 with all the funds.
Patiently waiting now for UBA interim dividend.
And then UBA FY dividend later which will be better than FBNH FY dividend.
My years of being faithfully loyal to any stock is gone.
No more emotions.

Not really.
I'm a long term investor.
Have been in the market since 2005.
Paid school fees on stocks (Intercontinental,
DarComs, etc etc)
Just recently factored in dividends as
a must.
So long term investor investing in shares that pay dividends.
And reviewing my positions from time to time.

My opinion is that fidelity, gtco and many other bank stocks are not out of the woods yet, investors be careful lest you get trapped!!!

Did fidelity not get to #18 in January this yr.I remember selling @ #14 and it continued north after I sold leaving small afolabi units

Fidelity Bank has never touched N15 ever in history not to talk of N18.

It's currently at an all time high

This is what I call smart investing, why die with a company when you have seen that they are not making a headway. We are all here to make money. This is exactly the method I will use to weed out unproductive shares in my portfolio. In some of the shares in my portfolio, to average down means buying double or triple initial holdings. I will soon sanitize my portfolio. Thanks.

I am naturally disposed to farming. Perhaps I may struggle to enter the moving bus to catch the seat of anyone disembarking and get some Afolabi units at a max of N3.9 shocked

I keep getting this message "Your e-dividend mandate request failed payment. You may double check that you have sufficient balance"

I have always had sufficient credit in the bank account.

Sent multiple emails to Veritas but no response

Any feedback is highly appreciated

PLEASE NOTE: My explanation about Fidelity's chart is not a buy signal, as I typically prefer to buy during a price pullback. However, with the increasing buying pressure on the stock, there’s a high chance it will rise further
