There won't be a dramatic difference (no improvement for sure) between what was reported in Unaudited and Audited 2023 results. So nothing to look forward to in that result.
I expect Oando to release the Q1 and Q2 results shortly after the Audited results. These results will be used to guage the outlook for the rest of the year including the current acquisition. In my opinion, Oando will not release the Audited in isolation as there will not be much to celebrate in it. Q1 and Q2 are unaudited and would have been prepared as soon as the board approved the Audited results late August or early September according to their guidance.

Now, we the ''Oando 'gang'' will start feeling the anxiety once again!
Wale must be careful not to mess up ooo!

I have gotten some Afolabi units grin

I bought 350k units when there was massive dumping sometimes this year at 2.86.
The goodies in ellahlakes is not known to many, they will scrambled for it at 150 in two years time..just watch out with alot of patience. grin grin someone even named me their agent, no problem, they will soon come with fundamentals after he don't fly finish just like they are doing in presco now.

Buffet said accounting number is one of the beginning to value a company and not everything.

Even in a sophisticated economy like USA, numbers still get cooked and investors got duped. grin grin

Elleh lake must go up by fire by thunder. I am waiting till berekete family will announce it or nse will ring the opening bell at the farm..lol

Offer side loading tomorrow

I don take small seat. They must repeat the PRESCO feat over time if they have good management as they are in an area of local comparative advantage. Also I looked at the price range over a period it looks stable under N4. I hope they did not give bonus that makes the historical price range erroneous

Go through 100 bagger book you will see how the great company you worship today started most of the 100 baggers company referenced started without numbers to justified their eventual growth but later go and did 100 bagger.

They should sell it and buy MH oando?

You can see the response of those in fidelity. They did not cry foul when they heard sell say the same sell for oando and all its marketers will start crying, attacking, cursing etc. Buy good fundamentally sound stocks and you won't feel bad anytime your love stock is talked about against your expectations

Based on this post, there is only one person crying without anyone beating them grin grin

I will buy when I begin see numbers. I am no longer in a hurry when it comes with naija companies if the numbers go bad after yrs I won't blame myself. I was ok buying presco at 345 after numbers. The hurry has made me wait 10 yrs in some companies. I am a long time investor. When I open trading accounts next yr I can start gambling/kalo kalo with the help of TA as the tool to pull crowd

The bolded is a requirement of International Commercial Banking License (not expressly Tier 1)... wink

Well, you guyz may be right..

I just thought going international n meeting up the Capital base is a strong enough reason for a shift..

I guess to be in the cadre of Too-Big-To-Fail, , their books, deposits, growth and future expansions will have to justify it in the long term, just as Access did..

Honey is not affected by this transaction

I had similar reservations but hearing from someone familiar with the buyout transaction in 2022, he has told me that same price still applies. However I will try and confirm again

Na wa for you o.

Until the off-screen seller is done, Ellah is not going anywhere (in the short term) in my opinion.

That said, strong positive news or deep pockets can absorb the shares the seller wants to offload. Until then, the seller is running the show.

You could take the above to the bank until the meeting at the farm happened. Apparently, CBO still has more shares to offload but rather than let it drag on for too long (tight band above N3), arranged an investor presentation with stockbrokers only. How is that even allowed? Next trading day after meeting, SP starts to climb with huge volumes. It's not dumping. Ellah Lakes is attempting to meet free float requirement by distributing its shares. CBO and Brokers will determine how the stock trades until there is significant news. They believe it's cheap due to its higher Net Asset Value per share and the what has been achieved so far on the "audio" cheesy farm. Na them sabi.

Roll call of attendees below. Did anyone's face look familiar? Would someone be kind enough to find out the Private placement price please?

I know Ellah Lakes directors opted for a portion of their salary in shares. Bullish!!! Quite a positive except that Mr Chuka is on a very FAT salary for a company with little to no revenue. Anyway, the future appears bright so can be overlooked. cheesy

Disclaimer - Not a buy or sell recommendation.

Sorry if you see it as one.
You have been doing well.

Sometimes, some people do have info as well, but needed some confirmation or hints from someone from inside or closer to inside person...😊
I get small positive info as well but if to say you don give hints, e for assist my own at least.

While the fearful fret, the wise capitalize on this rare opportunity to accumulate. For soon, after dusting off the weak hands, Oando will cruise pass 100. Mark this!
