You could take the above to the bank until the meeting at the farm happened. Apparently, CBO still has more shares to offload but rather than let it drag on for too long (tight band above N3), arranged an investor presentation with stockbrokers only. How is that even allowed? Next trading day after meeting, SP starts to climb with huge volumes. It's not dumping. Ellah Lakes is attempting to meet free float requirement by distributing its shares. CBO and Brokers will determine how the stock trades until there is significant news. They believe it's cheap due to its higher Net Asset Value per share and the what has been achieved so far on the "audio" cheesy farm. Na them sabi.

Roll call of attendees below. Did anyone's face look familiar? Would someone be kind enough to find out the Private placement price please?

I know Ellah Lakes directors opted for a portion of their salary in shares. Bullish!!! Quite a positive except that Mr Chuka is on a very FAT salary for a company with little to no revenue. Anyway, the future appears bright so can be overlooked. cheesy

Disclaimer - Not a buy or sell recommendation.

Most likely another bad result from sugar being priced in, and poor or no dividends from salt.

But salt paid interim dividend of N1 towards last year end and give a bonus of 1 for every 50 units of share this year

You're very correct.
...and I didn't even made the post against FCMB but in it's favour, so that the rally can be sustained.

If to say you'd been following some of my posts, you would have read where I talked about similar thing you said......

For instance, if UBA should start rallying, expect ACCESS to also follow.....(and vice versa)
When you see DS moving, expect NS......
GT, expect ZEE...
And the pairs goes on and on....

FCMB has released great results so far.......
I expect Q2 to also be great, all things being equal.

I understand.

My own post was not to oppose you but to contribute to the conversation and help keep the house warm.

I know you as among our top, extremely market wise resource persons here.

Elleh lake must go up by fire by thunder. I am waiting till berekete family will announce it or nse will ring the opening bell at the farm..lol

Offer side loading tomorrow

I saw it in Transcorp buying at +/- N1.00 with traders and what looks like MH upandan. But today Transcorp has left the N1.00 territory. grin

I am selecting Ellah lakes based on the fact that from Ondo state to Cross Rivers state is a fertile land that has huge comparative advantage for Palm Oil. Infact when the British called PH, "Oil Rivers", they were referring to Palm Oil rivers (not crude oil as some may erroneously think). PRESCO and OKOMU have demonstrated how great Palm Oil is under good company management. Also the Western region in the days of Pa Awolowo planted the biggest Oil Palm plantation at Okitipupa in current Ondo state. And it was listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange till kleptomaniac management ruined the whole set-up. With Good management Palm Oil is gooooood. I pray Ellah lakes takes off this time.

The Q3 result of DS and NASCON will not be as bad as the Q1 and Q2. The two companies will have better Q3.

I bought 350k units when there was massive dumping sometimes this year at 2.86.
The goodies in ellahlakes is not known to many, they will scrambled for it at 150 in two years time..just watch out with alot of patience. grin grin someone even named me their agent, no problem, they will soon come with fundamentals after he don't fly finish just like they are doing in presco now.

Buffet said accounting number is one of the beginning to value a company and not everything.

Even in a sophisticated economy like USA, numbers still get cooked and investors got duped. grin grin

I have already share my thoughts on Oil Rivers grin

As you quote Buffet let me refer to Peter Lynch also. In my own words, his view is that essoteric calculations are not needed for spotting the 5, 10, 50 & 100 baggers, but by just observation and awareness of companies around one and to see what's cooking in them and what prospects lie ahead.

To me Nigeria has a huge un-tapped oil rivers from Ondo to Calabar.

Don’t worry.
Alhaji is on the wheels.
Reminds me of Dangote flour days.
When all seemed lost with Dangflour dropping to sub N1 that year, Alhaji negotiated a deal to sell to a South African company to the excitement and gain of minority shareholders.
Afterwards, he bought it back for how much sef… $1 or something ridiculous.
Again, the company was revived and started doing well , then got sold again to Olam for N120 billion and got delisted from the then NSE in October 2019.
In both transactions, minority shareholders were properly taken care of. I follow enjoy the booty.
Alhaji will always cook.

Hmm, seeing is believing they say. But you think they are so dumb to gather this pool of persons on the basis of deceit. Failure to lay it bare can be considered a strategy. My Naija street sense tells me, flee when there is too much paparazzi.

After staying Static last year's between at 30-35 during the Great Bull run of 2023.

Now Managing just only 60-70% wrt inflation and buyout info, suddenly wants to delist at ₦70..

Flourmill has been grossly undervalued in the stock market cuz of their low dividend payout rate.

Now na to disappear at 70?..
They are bigger than this, even with the OS undecided

Verdict: Unfair
