Hello, I went to pick up myself today. I didn’t pay any money. It was faster than I expected. I submitted on Thursday and it was ready for pick up yesterday.

I submitted in March. Grateful that it’s all over now.

Yes I did my biometrics in Lagos but they said since this isn’t my first time submitting I have to pay per every time I send my passport.

Relax yourself. you are not the only one in that shoe. Canada Application process takes 9 months or more and it is stated clearly at the start of the application if you apply from the UK. Application from 9ja takes fewer months. If there is an issue with your application in the UK, you will have received a rejection at the early stage of your submission, though I may be wrong ooooo and I am speaking for myself. Ask anyone who got their application approved from the UK, it takes 9 months or more. I think if u have been to Canada before or the USA, the process is much faster from anywhere.

I used DHL to drop off my package on a Friday. They delivered it on Monday and I received a call from them(VFS) that evening to make a payment. I paid, but then I got another call the next day to pay again. I informed them that I had already paid. They sent my passport on Tuesday. Although it was ready on Friday, I was busy, so I picked it up on Monday.

Spousal application submitted Nov 2023.

First visitor application denied on April 5th 2024

Reapplied for visitor visa same day with spousal AOR, sponsor account statement and LOE.

PPR for visitor visa gotten 26th September 2024

Good morning gurus in the house.
I have an appointment at VFS submission center Lagos on Monday 30th September 2024. I will really appreciate if someone can help me on how to confirm if the biometrics and appointment letter at the vfs is legit, it was a travel agency that help me with the booking but why I'm concerned is because 2 of my friends travel all the way from Delta State to Lagos and they were told at the VFS submission center that the biometrics and appointment letter is fake. Please help me so I can save my time and money.

With all the info here it baffles me ppl are still patronizing agents over DIY. Nobody can confirm if your VFS appointment is fake here.

This is the same manner we prefer to reach God via "agents" when you can have access directly. May God have mercy on our lazy attitudes.

agents are used to help package the application. Work letters, padded/arrangee Pof , arranged home times 🥴
