Some people also severely maltreat their maids/servants as if they are not human beings, and sometimes those ones too will want to revenge by causing harm instead of jejely quitting...

No, no Mr Judolisco you got it all wrong. In fact she is supposed to have 🎓 graduated and earning decent money, but unfortunately the Parents could not do that. So now that she is grown, money must be needed to finance her marriage (which will make her settle down) to go and be doing what every married Lady is doing. She can farm, trade etc. But sending her to work as a Househelp they are just making more useless and heartless. So now see the consequences - wanting to kill her employer to either steal or she was paid to do that by her employer's enemy. Rehabilitating her and empowering her may be good but certainly not Jailing her - her problems will be compounded. In addition and most importantly she be accompanied with sincere prayers for her reformation. So unfortunate!!!

Gave her free unlimited access to internet, took her shopping and even told her to always ask me of anything if she is afraid to tell my wife.

She sent the news home and her people were calling every now and then to appreciate.

Mind you I still pay her monthly

I make sure she goes to bed by 9pm latest and does not come out of her room till 5am

A 19 yrs old girl is already an adult, I'm talking about people who take girls of 12 or 15... I've see several cases here on Nairaland of people maltreating kids not up to d age of 10....

Let them keep employing housemaids out of laziness. Some of them have grown teenagers. If ever busy people abroad can survive without housemaids, I don’t see why these lazy women in Nigeria cannot.

I'm a single daddy and I must say my nanny is so wonderful people telling me marry her but No No, if u check well the madam maltreats. Her and all her brain tells her is killing her .
