komekn: The English League One player has history with England. It is easier to market him. This is basic knowledge. It is easier to market Kaden Braithwaite to an English Club than market a Nigerian born super star to England. The coach has made his explanation clear as daylight. He is talking about Kelechi Nwakali not fitting into the ENGLISH GAME (KICK AND RUSH FOOTBALL). Kelechi Nwakali was never built for that kind of football. Finito. 1 Like |

MainJoe: Really shameless. So KC cant fit in the English game because its kick and follow. How come he couldn't fit in the Spanish and Portuguese league enough to get a decent team??. It takes a bigger man to accept when he doesn't get it right...but lesser men will continue to hold on to their delusions till they go under. 6 Likes |

sureleads: If this is something I started talking about this season, then I can understand the backlash on me. However, I have hammered this for some time on this thread. Do you expect Kelechi Nwakali to run up and down the field like Onyeka? No. He is not built to play that way. He is a prime high possession playing footballers. It is simple logic. I wonder what is biting you guys. 1 Like |

Sugarboyy: From your description, Thiago Alcantara and Gundogan does not fit into a modern footballer. Even Iniesta. Hilarious. |

MainJoe:They would have improved on that, same thing players like Iwobi, Le also and even Die Bruyne did. But our Nwakali has refused to do same thing, he still wants modern football and any team he is playing for to play his way. That's the problem 1 Like |

Sugarboyy: You can praise Iwobi without telling blatant lies against me. Why lie? It is shocking that you resort to that. Let me repeat before you keep spreading lies. I posted that Kelechi Nwakali is built for the possession game and his handlers would have made it easier for him to rebuild himself by getting him to work with a possessive playing manager. This will help him grow faster. However, I posted that Kelechi Nwakali can still become a better player if he sticks to the coach's instructions like working on the long distance running. I even explained how I will want him to follow the training routine. So, why lie? 1 Like 1 Share |

Starboytwo:Have you gone to check forums in France and Spain if they weren't same thing about Enzo before he had to yield to their advise and retired? Nwakali should do the same thing if he isn't ready to become a proper footballer. Nwakali is still young and has made a fortune for himself, who says he can't retire now and spend the next 3-5 years studying as a coach? With such he can become a good professional coach before the age of 35. 3 Likes |

TheGoodJoe:Sorry to derail you sir. How u see Savinho at Man City. Is he the reason why Foden is sitting on the bench more? Also what's the news about Rodri's injury? |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Sugarboyy(m): 3:24pm On Sep 25 |
TheGoodJoe:Maybe you are the only one seeing the lies you are talking about here. For the bolded, don't you think Nwakali knows all of these and really want to stick to the coach instructions like working on long distance running but he just can't because he doesn't have such attributes in him? He can only learn what he can and offer what he can offer 1 Like |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 3:26pm On Sep 25 |
AndSunGorilla: Rodri is likely out of the season. Foden is battling with some fitness issues but playing time will be tougher because of Savinho. With De Bruyne out injured, Foden will likely be the best person to partner Gundogan in the free 8s role. So, I see Foden seeing games this season until De Bruyne returns. There is a lot of games and they will play. It is Mattheus Nunes I am scared for. It is just not fully clicking for him. With McAtee breathing for space, Nunes might miss out. |
