Hi guys, good evening.

Did my biometrics 6th September and I've got no updates as at today. Should I be worried?

Quick update:

Unfortunately, I already applied through my company's visa agency company before I stumbled on this page.

I'm a first time traveler with no previous Visa nor visa denials, unmarried and earns circa 1.6m monthly.

Purpose of travel is for a one week executive course in a tier 1 business school in London. Company paid tuition 7.5k and will handle all expense.

Attached the company's statement (above 1b)
My salary statement (had balance of about 5.3m; didnt include otther bank statement with a few funds angry)
Visa letter from school confirming 7.5k GBP payment and that i owe them nothing plus some other documents.
I Stated I'd be spending 2.3
Also stated company will fund 2.3k (I genuinely assumed the personal spend was based on what the company will fund, realised I was wrong after going through this thread).

In summary, just want to know my chance while I await the good/bad cheesy.

Quite sad I got her laten

Thanks

They will upload for you at Tls center. Also note that is only A4 that can be uploaded. Any of your document not in A4 kindly photocopy and be sure is in A4.
Derio253:
I was left with no option than to pay for the prime time service to secure an appointment date since the self service option seems suspended. I've tried for days.

Now my confusion is that I wasn't sent any appointment confirmation email like it was stated but my page has the appointment time and date.

Also, I wasn't sent any payment confirmation email as it was stated. I understand they require copies of these emails during the appointment.

Lastly, though I was compelled to go for the prime service option due to the unavailability of dates for the self service as stated above, I will still love to upload my documents myself but I see no space to do this. Not even my passport data page or pof.

Please, am I in order. If no, what can I do?

I will appreciate your response on these please.

@ Cashmaddam thanks for guiding me,I pray God will always be by ur side.

Pls am still on budgeting, I have totally remove shopping because I didn't have much.but put budget for attraction. See it if,is okay

Amen. You are most welcome.

Please amend fight to flight.

If you can afford it, add some extra for shopping - what is a holiday without shopping?

Are you sure about accomodation at that price? I don't know any hotel that charges less than 50 Pounds a night.

Good day everyone.

Please, does UKVI accept bank statements from Nigerian digital banks, such as Opay?

They recognize any financial institution approved by the Central Bank of Nigeria. I don't know if Opay falls into this category. However, I would advise that you stick to a regular commercial bank.

Hi guys.
I’m a single guy of 31yrs old and getting married December. I want to plan a honeymoon trip to the uk with my partner but she has never been anywhere before.
She started working in a company 3 months ago earning 1m and has a registered fashion business on the side. Does she stand a chance applying with me ? Since we are not married yet.
I have traveled extensively. I have been to uk, Dubai , 3 Schengen countries, USA , and I also have Canada visa too. I have a business with 30-40m monthly inflow. Just trying to figure out our relationship when we apply together.

You are not married.

Single

Add invites and provide details of your
wedding, plans for honeymoon vacation.like an itinerary of what you both intend to do

There is a portion at the end of the application that lets you add additional information. So write out your wedding and honeymoon plans

@Cashmaddam and esteemed members of the house. My dependant visa came out positive but the valid from date and valid until dates are just one day apart and both dates have even passed before notification to collect passport
What can I do to remedy the situation, please?
After getting back to TLS they collected the passport and resolved it the next day. I got my passport back the third day. Validity date now 3 months within which we collect the BRP. Thanks to those who contributed to my enquiry. Special thanks to @casmaddam, and @ashirioluwa

Good day,

The flight ticket states that the passenger requires a yellow fever vaccination certificate. Pls is that to be gotten at Lagos Airport or at Kigali?

@cashmadam, you can pls help me with the answer too

pansophist:

October 2nd or 8th, Rwandan airline will fly from Lagos to London, transiting Kigali for two hours.

You get to check in 23kg x2 luggages. It cost 375 euros on way.

Provide all documents to prove your relationship. provide copies of all documents relating to your scheduled wedding (e.g IV, booking of court wedding etc). She will be assessed on her on merit so ensure her account is in order and she has substantial savings.
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by naivasha: 9:32pm On Sep 25
I suggest you do this in Lagos. The Port Health office is near the airport toll gate. I did mine about two weeks ago. It cost N3,050. I think I spent about 30-45 minutes. They advise that you should eat before going to take the vaccination. Also, your travel date should be ten days or more from the day you get get vaccinated.

Nothing like that. Applications are sent to DMCs in Croydon, Sheffield etc. The TLS location has no impact.

This is the feedback I got today. Just wondering what else I need to do to convince them I'm genuinely going for the course. Quite sad. What do I need to do? The course is by November 4. Firm already paid 7.5k GBP

You state that you intend to come to the UK for 7 days for Executive Education Course 2024 Programme. However, I note that you have been employed within your current organisation since December 2022 and the documents provided do not demonstrate that you or anyone in the business have made a comparable business trip to the UK or elsewhere for similar purpose previously. • Furthermore, the documents you have submitted do not demonstrate that your employer have previously funded staff to attend this course and you have not explained why it is necessary for you to attend the course. In addition, you have failed to satisfactorily explain what benefits will accrue to your employer from your attendance at this course. This damages the overall credibility of your application. • In light of all of the above, I am not satisfied that you intend to leave the United Kingdom or that you are genuinely seeking entry as a visitor. Your application is therefore refused under paragraph V4.2 (a) and (c).
