Response to Point No 1.

First, the communication language of centuries back and now are not the same.

Second, God couldn't stop Satan from afflicting Job because Satan was legally the god of this world. This is why God told Satan, "..all that he hath is in thy power..(Job 1:12).

The only way God could have stopped Satan is if there was a covenant between Him and Job.

Third, it was Job himself who opened the door for attack on his life through fear:

Job 3:25 For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me.
