Streetinvestor don tay for the forum o. If my memory is right, he used to have somethingbiafra in his old user name.

ndept:
If you must know, this is @kolaish and I joined this forum around 2015 or thereabout and have been on NSE/NGX for over 3 decades. I went for holiday outside the country and during that period gave the laptop I was using to communicate on this forum to my third child who recently got admission into the university so that he can be using it for school assignment. Coming back, I forgot the login details of my old moniker and the email password. This is the reason why I opened a new moniker @ndept. If the so-called to.ut in the name of streetinvestor2 is bold enough, let him give us his old moniker to know who he is.

I have been long enough to know how many resource persons we have lost on this forum due to ru.de people like him and I will not allow him to turn this platform into a mediocre that he is. If he does not stop abusi.ng and calling people derogatory names here, I am ready to tackle him all the way. Good people should not always keep quiet and allow bad behaviour to linger for long until it becomes a norm. That is part of what led our country to where we are now, because people do not want to tackle bad people/behaviour collectively.

Oga Agba, is anyone trying to link Oba Otudeko in these FMN/Honeywell issue self?
What if hes planning to take Honeywell back?
I'm just thinking out loud.....😁

He may be doing some underground work here....
We can see how's he's dragging FBNH with Ote$$ till now.....
He was under duress to release Honeywell that time, he had limited choice..

Who are the owners of this Excelsior self?

As reported in its 2009 Annual Financial Statements submitted to the Nigerian Stock Exchange, approximately 48% of FMN’s shares are traded publicly, without further specification of ownership in regard to these.

The same report identifies the majority, private shareholder of FMN as Excelsior Shipping Company Limited, with 51.59%.

George Coumantaros and his family are believed to be the owners of Excelsior Shipping Company Limited. Excelsior is incorporated in Liberia and inquiries with the Liberian registry confirmed that the company is owned by Greek interests. A 1964 U.S. civil litigation case against a Liberian registered shipping vessel names John Coumantaros, George Coumantaros’ son, as Excelsior’s sole shareholder.

George S. Coumantaros and his son, John George Coumantaros, control Southern Star Shipping Company, Inc., Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc and its subsidiaries.

As previously mentioned, George Coumantaros and his family are believed to be the owners of Excelsior Shipping Company Limited, the controlling shareholder of Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc. Excelsior is incorporated in Liberia and details of its corporate records are held with the Greek branch of the registry, which is located in Piraeus. Since it is common for Greek shipping companies to be registered in Liberia, a corporate registries office is located there.

Verbal inquiries with the Liberian registry established that Excelsior is owned by Greek interests. A 1964 case of U.S. litigation claim against a Liberian owned vessel names John Coumantaros as Excelsior’s sole shareholder.

The Coumantaros family is a well-connected Greek-U.S. shipping family and has a significant profile on the New York social scene, where it appears to be extremely well connected.

Politically, the family also appears to have important ties. FTI noted several contributions to the Republican Party, as well as an apparent family connection to John Negroponte, a former senior U.S. diplomat under the George W. Bush and Ronald Reagan administrations whose ambassadorial posts included Iraq in 2004 and 2005, following which he was the Director of National Intelligence until 2007.

As at 2009, George Coumantaros held a leadership position with the following corporations:

- Southern Star Shipping Company, Inc. – Founder, CEO and CFO
- Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc – CEO
- Interstate Grain Corporation (U.S. entity) – Director
- Athens College – U.S. Board of Trustees
- The West of England Ship Owners Mutual Insurance Association – Former Vice Chairman

Discreet inquiries into George Coumantaros’ reputation provided no negative information and depicted him in a positive manner. One Lagos-based corporate source stated that George Coumantaros is widely viewed as the driving force behind Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc and is responsible for its profitability. Another source also noted him to be well regarded among Nigerian shipping and business circles.

John George Coumantaros was born on December 10, 1961, and resides in New York. He is the son of George Coumantaros and information indicates that he is currently the ultimate holder of the family’s stake in the family’s companies.

As at 2009, John Coumantaros held a leadership position with the following corporations:

- Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc – Group Managing director
- Nigerian Bag Manufacturing Company (Nigerian Entity) – Chairman
- United Cement Company of Nigeria (Nigerian Entity) – Chairman

@BHG
Thanks for your contributions.

Youre right sir.....
* I also tried to find out and saw that George Coumantaros was the founder of Flour Mills Nig Ltd
* His son John owns Excelsior Shipping Company Limited
* John is presently the majority shareholder of FLOURMILL with 62.95% shares.......more stakes mopped up btw N14 and N21 sometimes ago...
* John is behind this takeover and delisting of FMN
** We may however not know the forces pushing him to delist and for what purpose in particular yet....
** There was issue of consolidation as well......not much details known yet...
** We won't be surprised if mopping of FLOURMILL continues up to N70 or maybe above self by his proxy or proxies of the behind curtain 'pusher' probably....😊
** Should mopping of FMN shares continue till N70 and above, then there's possibly more to this buyout stories.
** Excelsior will not be voting in the coming Court Ordered Meeting .....let's hope minority shareholders will be allowed to vent their angers and vote against the buyout price/renegotiate it higher.
** We'll be getting clearer pictures as time goes on anyway.

***This is just my personal opinion o, no one should Blv it's the true situation of things........just being curious of what might be happening here and thinking out loud.

Mr kolaish and street please let all find a way to always criticize views with facts devoid of insults and emotions, I understand that we are all humanbeings that can get carried by emotions but we can always do better to manage situations. After all we are all here to make money and without arguments sometimes some things wouldn't be more clear as we all have access to different information and process information differently.
Let us all prepared our mind that in any disagreement there is always something to learn, relearn and unlearn, nobody knows all.

I will be glad if the two men can say I'm sorry to each other.

We shouldn't see each other as enemies but face our common enemies together which is poverty.

Good morning all, I pray for more greens today in our portfolio.

Why is the total equity heading north for a company that is not generating revenue? Even before the right issue.
