Ogun with the highest number of federal roads is better than 32 other states Including states that are bigger in allocation and smaller in size.

I am sure the researchers took into account the numerous road constructions being done to fix and make the roads here better

Try visit

Ota
Sango
Ifo
Ijoko

You will weep for the residents living there… don’t forget Ifo LG is one of the biggest LG in ogun states…

Same Ifo LG has one of the biggest factories and manufacturing companies in Nigeria… but they suffer bad roads

So I really don’t why Ogun state made the list

The writer has never been to Crossriver. In my opinion Rivers State is the only State with good roads to an extent. Port Harcourt as a city has the best and traffic congestion free city roads in Nigeria today with majority of inner streets completely paved.

How did I put Ogun in 5th? Am I the author or am I Tribune?

The truth is better how much you bad mouth the state, it is better than more than 84% of the states in Nigeria.

This includes Delta and Bayelsa whose allocation is huge due to oil prodiction
Ogun and good road network should not be put together in one sentence. This news is just a formulated one. Ogun and Osun have the worst road network in SW. These are roads i plied always.

Ogun State with good roads?

Please tell the article writer to change his dealer.
Especially that death trap called Kemta-Somorin road. A road with dangerous bends and blind spots without sidewalks, bumps to control over speeding or concrete slabs on the drainage
The road is narrow, but it is motorable.

Good Road stable electricity shouldn't be found in one sentence with Ogun ,
Just 2 months ago Ogun residences where on the street protesting bad road Ojudu Oba festival in Ogun was heavily touted with Bad road ,,imagine Ogun coming before Enugu Imo Anambra in road network? Abia have since overtaken Ogun since Elex Otti came on board and turned the state into construction sites,,, see this ruler connecting road in an Anambra ruler Vilage is Ogun this well connected with tared roads in there rural areas??

What do you mean, one governor can govern the whole of Ogun state successfully, is just that they have always been unlucky to have a better governor..

Amosun tried, if they have had the continuation of amosun, the state would have been better..

Ogun is not bigger than Oyo state, and there have been a significant change in Oyo since makinde and late ajimobi become governor

We don't want the likes of Amosun in Ogun state again. Fine, we need his developmental ideas, not the way he governed for 8years. It was a menace for other many important sectors.

I am surprised Cross River is so down in the list.

Kano, Akwa Ibom are not a surprise.

Lagos is also not surprising cos the governor and local government chairmen have been doing a lot. The population is just too high so the pressure on those roads is high.

Ogun, those who say Ogun has the worst roads in Nigeria have obviously not been to other states.

Ebonyi and Enugu yeah. Been to these states and yes, they are doing well.

Abia is not on the list. Kogi too.
I have been to Abia a couple of times and goodness…the roads need to be worked on so as to improve the economy of the state.

Abuja is a cheat code abeg

Crossing the highway is not an example of being in a State.

I am not surprised, I lived in Cross River for about 11mnths. The roads are terrible, traveling from one part of Cross River to another was very tedious.

should I bring pictures of Anambra State roads? From nnobi into Awka, Nnewi to ozubulu, Nnewi to Uga

Before you shout Federal roads, you didn't specify the exact roads you brought the pictures
Re: Good Roads: Top 10 States In Nigeria by Zool6: 8:32am On Sep 26
Honestly if the road is to be ranked by State Capital Nothern State Will take atleast about 5 slots here they can spend on there state capital roads especially those once that lead to ,Gawment House grin,,the problem is that most northern state development is mostly concentrated only in state capital's they hardly have emerging cities,,,,,if it is abouts having motorabel roads in the interior rural areas then Lagos and Anambra should be dragging number 1 spot. aside from Anambra boasting of over 12emerging cities aside Awka the capital u have Onitsha Nnewi Oba Nkpor Ekwulobia Ogbunike Ogidi Agulu Ikwereizunaka Ozubulu Osumenyi Oraifite and Agureli which have helped in spreading road into remote places in the state Anambrarians have this strong culture of most well doing individuals undertaking community projects like taring of roads in the vilages Benson Madubuko Spent his own over $3m (5b) tarring his community road ,,the young boy Linus Williams of Blord is less than 25yrs but he is already taring road in his village check his IG the road in my own village in Nnewi South was tared by an individual with this culture I doubt any state will have more tared roads in the rural areas like Anambra even Instigator PH who is not among 500 richest Anambrarians still spent his billions tarring roads in his community

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2SZE_aSl3SE?si=JHWqHWSa_FwBeHZe

Things like this is very common in Anambra it's more like a community debt once u become rich in Anambra state, ,,,

If it is abouts having tared road rulal areas Anambra and Lagos should drag number 1 spot

Shattuck:
I have heard that some northern states have good roads, but one thing you also need to note, which I don't know if the statistics took into consideration, is how well spread is the urban centre, like Lagos for example almost everywhere is an urban area, so almost every road needs to be in good shape, now if you ten try to compare say a state in which less than 20 percent is urban, I think the comparison won't be fair.

Re: Good Roads: Top 10 States In Nigeria by 3seriez(m): 8:37am On Sep 26
You have never visited Katsina, Gombe and Bauchi.
Part from Abuja, the best good roads in the North is Katsina. Yaradua and shema did wonders with their roads.

They should remove Ogun and Lagos state from this list

streets in Lagos mainland are worse than anything anyone can imagine

except areas like Okota, Ejigbo, Ago, Surulere, Isolo, Ikorodu, Ojo and the rest are not in Lagos
