We also play in a slow, lackadaisical manner, taking ages to make a decision as if the players are always doubting what to do with the ball with a lack of cohesion and strikers failing to convert chances.

The team looks over coached with too much instruction. Look at Dalot sprinting everywhere yesterday with no tangible end product.

Martinez is guilty of holding on to the ball for far too long and then passing backward out or sideways. I initially thought it was him an De ligt fooling the other day only to see Martinez doing it with Maguire last night. It's almost as if they are instructed to recycle the ball that way or they are scared of progressing with the ball.

All the opponent had to do was crowd the midfield and we will start laboring to move ball upfield.
