Sanusi, the CBN Governor who doesn't know the difference between turnover and profit. The man who presented the presumed daily sale of crude oil of 2.1 million barrels multiplied by the prevailing crude price and expected total remittance by quoting the $20 billion deficit as missing without asking NNPC for the cost of operation and reconciling with the Finance Minister.
And you genuinely think someone who rose through the ranks as an economist up to the position of a CBN governor doesnt know the difference between turnover and profit?

Continue deceiving yourselves....

Truly, Sanusi has his good side, but he also enjoys being a controversial figure. Nobody enjoys working with such people. I would sack him if I were the president too. Every time, he was talking about missing billions while he went about sharing money in Kano.

The man talks anyhow

Well, he truly sacked you...!

His Choice not to call it what it was should be seen as a mark of respect to you.

Most times, SACK comes in several "respectful" forms:

1. Leave of Absence
2. Relief of Responsibilities
3. Placed on Indefinite Sabbatical
4. Parting ways by mutual agreement or Consent
5. Discontinue a Professional Relationship
6. Accept a Resignation
Etc...!

According to Martin Lawrence... Thanks for doing such amazing work, it was great having you here, Now get the fvck out and never return! tongue

Sanusi, you that single handedly out of hatred for the Ibru dynasty, destroyed oceanic bank. You are here talking trash that Jonathan sacked you. You don't know that what goes around, comes around. Your evil deeds are part of what is haunting till date in the kano emirate tussle.

I wouldn't argue that Jonathan's administration wasn't riddled with corruption, but they had a heart for the people.

Life during his era was good. As a graduate with 150k salary, you can start a family, rent a decent flat and buy a portable car.

Today, people earning 500k are crying because those in power don't care. They're out to loot this country to the bone.
Not a supporter of Jonathan but that was a decade ago.

If PDP had continued in power, with all the inefficiencies of the country, lack of diversification, COVID 19 issues, oil instability, endemic and worsening corruption under PDP too,
Nigeria would have retrogressed from that point.

Perhaps not as bad as this but things would still have been bad today.

Emefiele wasn't dumb, he was just a criminal who was being controlled by bigger criminals. No matter the level of nepotism, a dullard wouldn't rise through the ranks to that position.

So I'd repeat it again, same way I screamed it over 10 years ago. Sanusi wasn't blabbing when he blew the whistle that $20 billion wasn't accounted. He knocked a very major heist by blowing that whistle. Knowing the kind of corruption that happens unabated in Nigeria, only a delusional or gullible person would dismiss such an allegation from a CBN governor.

Where did you get the hatred for Ibru dynasty from?
What happened to Intercontinental that he wrecked alongside Oceanic? Perhaps, he has something against the Erastus Akingbola dynasty too.

Truth remains, he simply used his office as a vendetta against the two of them. There are inside stories you do not know.

Sanusi told the world that nobody should trust Jonathan presidency right from the early months of Jonathan presidency after the death of Yar'adua who appointed Sanusi as Gov of the Central Bank of Nigeria. From Day 1, Sanusi never took Jonathan as his boss, as Sanusi was preoccupied with campaign for return of presidency to the north. Sanusi's allegation of missing oil money was part of his campaign for power return to the north. Sanusi put everything to make Buhari succeed Jonathan after Jonathan's first term as president of Nigeria.

I disagree. Cos as bad as Buhari was, he met fuel at N97 and after 8 years left it at N189. It wasn't even up to N100 naira increment after 8 years in power.

I wouldn't say much about the dollar tho, cos the collapse of the naira was horrible under him. But you would agree with me that the standard of living was still fair under him.

The difference between Buhari and Jonathan was that Jonathan had competent hands who were managing the economy. So despite the visible corruption, they managed to keep the economy moving.

Tinubu on the other hand is worse than Jonathan and Buhari. He met fuel at N189, and within a year it's over 1k. He met dollar at N700 and within a year it's over N1,600.

If Tinubu spends 8 years like Buhari, believe me the kind of poverty that would be in this country would be record breaking cos he has absolutely no plan on how to put things back in order. And worse of all, those around him are incompetent.

I heard Sanusi allegedly issued bureau de change license to many of his people from the North hence caused the risen 1dollar from 180 to about 240 naira or there about during his tenure as CBN Governor. Always playing saints!

LIES

We would have been far far better off...

Is it only Nigeria this COVID 19 affected?

But look at other countries at same level with Nigeria, they bounced back almost immediately after the COVID 19 pandemic lockdown ended recording high GDP growth rates of 6 - 9% per annum, while your country was still struggling and crawling between negative GDP growth rate minus (-1%) and 1.5%.

As we speak APC still tanking our GDP down to 250b Dollars from 500+ billion dollars when PDP left and you still have mouth to talk.

I pray that someday, Lamido Sanusi becomes the president of Nigeria, and doesn't disappoint.
The man is quite open and honest, qualities that are rare and expected of a leader.

I'm not talking about Jonathan or buhari. The standard of living of the average Nigerian was under them was fair and I pointed that out in my previous post.

The problem I'm having is with Tinubu. Cos he's administration has no direction. No one under him seem to know what they're doing.

That's why there's so much suffering in the land.

Oh, so you know so much about government affairs and spending than someone who controls the finance itself. Till we are honest in this country and call a spade a spade irrespective of who it affects, it is until then Nigeria will experience meaningful progress.

Till then, let's keep deceiving ourselves.

Na their wahala. The purpose for which SLS spited Jonathan later became evident. It was to usher in buhari, a northern fulaniman. Everybody used their tools to deal with Jonathan, including religious and ethnic war. They've failed to realise that only God puts one in positions, not by force else, your office won't see batter days.

After they hijacked power, they now set Nigeria backwards by 50 years. A lot of people can't ride cars anymore, many homes now use firewood to cook, they now beg to eat, the masses' quality of life had reduced so much. Homes now buy lantern to light up their rooms cos electricity tariff is crazy. All these were experiences and scenarios of the pre-independence era, over 60 years ago.

While tinubu was using propaganda tools with sponsored protests, religious extremists were at it up north and some political office holders of northern extraction in his government too were busy betraying him. PWHC was able to jettison SLS's claim in their report as figures didn't match. SLS was just behaving like emefiele as CBN governor and used his office to favour his people. I remember the billions largesse to kano, during the attack. Whereas, worst cases happened down south but he looked the other way. How people forget things in a hurry. He later became emir of kano, his agelong ambition. Jega was another useless man. Today, he's holding a key position in the apc-led govt as compensation.

I've learned from Jonathan personally. Nigeria doesn't need a soft leader.I'd have put tinubu and his men in jail after charging them for treason and release them only a few weeks to the end of my 2nd tenure. Na shout him thugs go shout. Police wouid arrest and jail some of them and the rest wouid keep quiet. After all, he's the Commander-in-chief

Jonathan was even more lenient with Sanusi. The CBN Governor was behaving like he was a government of his own. I remember how he took millions of naira from CBN and was dashing it to people in Kano as part of his campaign for the Emirship stool. Buhari or Tinubu could never have tolerated a quarter of what he did to Jonathan. No wonder he was booted out by Ganduje because he couldn't tolerate his arrogance.
