These people don't come to Anambra to do research, if not they will know that Anambra has the highest road network in Nigeria and better road than most of the craps up there.

The same thing with numerous Northern states which also has good road like Jos etc

I live in Ogun State, Ota precisely and the road network is the worst. I saw you put Navy School, Ikola and Osi. That's the front of my house 😄. I can show you pictures of the bad road. True, it was done well but has gone bad. Ogun state has the worst road network. So do your research well before you post

I won't blame the Op or the Tribune or whoever wrote the article, they only visit Ogun state through the Federal Express which connects Lagos to Ibadan, so most of their travel is on the Federal roads.
Or maybe the Lekki through Epe to Ijebu Ode Express.

It is the people who work and live in Ogun state that can have the true report of what's on ground.

We don't want the likes of Amosun in Ogun state again. Fine, we need his developmental ideas, not the way he governed for 8years. It was a menace for other many important sectors.

One man's food is another man's poison...

His infrastructural development is even better than all the policies of your present gorimapa governor...

If the infrastructural development is not there, in Lagos, how do you think people will come in and do business?

The state capital looks more like an ancient city before amosun came to rescue it...

Between, I'm from Lagos, so I'm not talking from a baised point, but I witness Amosun and the man tried in Ogun state

Pease enlighten us about the economic development taking place in your own state.

Btw, the fact that you travelled to Akwa Ibom to do hookup for 5k does not mean that everyone is like you.

You know it clearly that Ogun has the worst road network in nigeria but tribalism won't let you admit it. Good night to you
Stop talking trash! You OBVIOUSLY don't know what "road network" is. The road network in Ogun state is not bad. It is the roads that are bad not the network

I am surprised Cross River is so down in the list.

Kano, Akwa Ibom are not a surprise.

Lagos is also not surprising cos the governor and local government chairmen have been doing a lot. The population is just too high so the pressure on those roads is high.

Ogun, those who say Ogun has the worst roads in Nigeria have obviously not been to other states.

Ebonyi and Enugu yeah. Been to these states and yes, they are doing well.

Abia is not on the list. Kogi too.
I have been to Abia a couple of times and goodness…the roads need to be worked on so as to improve the economy of the state.

Abuja is a cheat code abeg

Well, Amosun infrastructural pattern is highly commendable, no doubt. But, that shouldn't jeopardize other important sectors like Education, Salary of the civil servant, Pensions and Healthcare.

50-60% of Amosun's infrastructures are waste of the state resources. How many of his model schools are functioning now? Note that one each was built in 20 LGAs, and none is working at the moment. Majority have been taken over by weed and goat. Just few of the buildings were converted by this Dapo administration for other purposes like Ogun Tech Hub. Imagine how much he would reported to have spent on this?

A whole AC equipped pedestrian bridge he built in his ward is not functioning till date. How much do you think he wasted on this one too?

Goto Omida and see majority of his modern shopping malls closed down because the vast majority of those occupied there initially can't afford to rent them, same in itoku.

Come to Enugada to Elega axis, he completed 5% of that road before he left. Lafenwa to Rounder was left incomplete. It was even Dapo administration that completed the overhead bridge in kuto to Òkè Mosan.

Amosun did many damages in his 8years tenure. Do you know how many months salaries he owed until the last month of his administration? Meanwhile, Dapo never owe a month salary till date.

Amosun was the one that destroyed Mapoly, when he said it should be move to Ipokia, the Ipokia project is dead today. Mapoly was converted to university only on paper.

Imagine if those money spent on the Model Schools were used to renovate our public and primary schools like this Dapo you hate so much is doing?

Healthcare facilities were damaged in his tenure, health workers going on strike here and there because of their salaries and all. Now, Dapo is renovating all primary health centers across the state. You see.

Dapo just cleared all pending pensions of over 5billion for both state and local government workers. Amosun instead borrowed their pension money with the workers corporative savings and wasted them on infrastructures he didn't complete.

In a normal environment, Amosun should be in jail. Let me just stop here.

It's totally wrong for Cross River to make that list
Re: Good Roads: Top 10 States In Nigeria by frankfab(m): 6:36pm On Sep 26
Cross River State has one of the worst road network. From Ugep to Abubra to Obudu to Ikom.

Best Roads is different from the Best Road Network.

But that's not what I'm here to discuss.

It's motorable but doesn't pass the minimum safety standards.

If I have the means, I will sue the Ogun State government to court for indirectly trying to kill the citizens they swore to protect

Re: Good Roads: Top 10 States In Nigeria by gidigbam1: 11:16pm On Sep 26
You have a point. But Lagos roads are very poorly maintained with potholes littered everywhere. Don't know why they are not maintaining it like in other States and FCT. Rivers have very good roads, widely spread and so is Akwa Ibom, Ebonyi, Kano, Kaduna Plateau and Adamawa,
Shattuck:
I have heard that some northern states have good roads, but one thing you also need to note, which I don't know if the statistics took into consideration, is how well spread is the urban centre, like Lagos for example almost everywhere is an urban area, so almost every road needs to be in good shape, now if you ten try to compare say a state in which less than 20 percent is urban, I think the comparison won't be fair.

Omo the only issue is just the cost of living affecting everyone but in Akwa Ibom it's minimal when compared to other states especially Benin I just came back from
As for the area, what's your occupation and do you wish to establish a business or offer any service when you relocate?

ok, btw I just used Lagos as an example based on the spread of urbanization, I know of akwa ibom for a fact, I have alot of people who have been there.

Omo you go make blood money with real estate.
I go quote you for evening on how it works here especially with the ongoing Ibaka deep sea projects that many cargoes will be shifted from the West to the Eastern ports and most Igbos will shift attention from Lagos down to Akwa Ibom which will berth ships because it's the deepest in Nigeria.
So many lands will be acquired in airport road and Omo if you venture into this ehn you go make money but competition too dey and most people dey use soap sell lands but consequences dey.
Poultry is good as well here too but na just this emilokan regime wey cost of feeds, drugs and other poultry products don high.
Very soon the state go progress with the new governor because the state currently is at a low despite the money as jobs are not circulating while graduates survive with 30k teaching and hotel jobs
