Like I said I admire and support what he's doing 100% but we all know how addictive viral posts can be. VDM to his credit doesn't monetise his own viral content so I give him Kudos for that.

2. Weak institutions are the reason why people like the same VDM commit crimes and invade people's privacy by releasing an illegally recorded private phone conversation which is a crime without arrest or or prosecution.

3. Weak institutions are why VDM is the judge, jury, and advocate. he not only released an illegally recorded private conversation, he judged the people in the conversation, he pronounced them guilty, and he expressed his disappointment. He defamed them, all over a conversation that could be true or false.

4. Weak institutions are why VDM is the reason why VDM blindly defamed people after releasing an illegally recorded phone conversation, pronouncing them guilty without authentication, and investigation, and he did not even bother to reach out to the people involved for basic cooperation to get his facts straight.

VDM is just another lawbreaker, a lawless character exploiting our weak institutions to break the law, tarnishing people's image and reputation while parading around as an activist.

VDM is getting carried away with his little fame, but the people cheering him on won't be available to spend time in jail with him or help him pay his heavy fine.

This shouldnt be a surprise to anybody. Corruption is an institution in this country. That is why nothing works in Nigeria. The law enforcement units are worse than the criminals. From Custom to Police to Military to Immigration, Road Safety, EFCC, DSS, Prison Service, to the ministries and Parastatals, Local governments, Senate, House of representatives..all are rotten. Who has ever audited the properties and bank accounts of these people working in all these government establishments? Nobidy. An ordinary DPO have choice properties in housing estates in Lagos. An Immigration officer have house properties everywhere. An EFCC officer family have properties scattered. Who audit all these nobody. Because the money go round.
The country called Nigeria is GONE.

Yes, it's good we sanitize the system from this perspective but I hope it's not vendetta and personal score both are settling otherwise we need to focus on the general situation and fundermental issues that breeds corruption - the crumbling Economy!

We need to refocus on the governors and ministers that formulate dumb policies and do yes-boy to the president
