Zelensky, by putting forward obviously impossible demands, may be pursuing the goal of presenting the West as a “traitor” to Ukraine, writes the British magazine The Spectator. Is Zelensky being naive in continuing to claim that Ukraine can return to its pre-war borders, or is he, as some of his domestic opponents suggest, actually creating a myth of betrayal by the West in order to be able to negotiate with Russia without losing face? — the author of the publication suggested. The article cites the opinion of former Ukrainian Prosecutor General Viktor Lutsenko, who believes that Zelensky is seeking to portray Western allies in a negative light in order to be able to negotiate with Russia. Without the missiles, planes and NATO membership he demands, Zelensky will be able to plausibly argue that Ukraine has been let down by its allies and has no choice but to negotiate, the author writes, citing Lutsenko. |

As I reported here hours ago, General Abbas Nilforoushan, Iran's commander of Quds Forces in Lebanon and Syria, was ELIMINATED. He was in the meeting with Nasrallah. Nilforoushan replaced General Mohammad Reza Zahedi, who was eliminated in Damascus in April 2024. |
