At 82, do you want him to go out jogging every morning?

He's never visited abuja for over a decade.
Abdusalam and Obj have visited lagos, abuja and several states across the country in the last 10 or 20 years.

IBB has not. Its only at Hilltop in Minna.

It's like he's just waiting for his death calmly

Stories has it that he was shot at the hip during the Biafran war. Old age seem to have escalated the dislocation and therefore made him incapable of moving freely on his own.

In places where things work, he would be in prison by now for allegedly pioneering massive corruption in government.

On a human and personal note, I wish him the quickest recovery.

Buhari pioneered generational grand theft in Nigeria with the 2 billion dollar suitcase scam. Not babangida. That was way back 1978. Again, it was Buhari that initiated a coup that brought in people like babangida, abacha and others in to government in 1983. He said he was fighting corruption then. Same thing he said in 2015, when he came in with tibubu snd co. Buhari likes to fight corruption with the likes of Anini and Oyewusi

He has leg problem and can hardly work, I think he is on wheel chair . He is the most unhealthy former president , so seeing him in the public again is not possible.

Ogun and Sango don give am incurable illness. Wole Soyinka is 90 years and he is jumping all over the place, Pastor Adeboye is about 85 years, he is still jumping on the pulpit, but the cursed general is house ridden because the gods have put him in house arrest

Buhari wasnt even the plotter of that 83coup. He was t even amongst the top henchmen.

The henchmen placed him there for the sake of fairplay.

They all agreed for ibb to take him out when he started going offkey and following cases that would have exposed some of them.

Buhari is the nicest of them all. But his dullness &stupidity causes sooo much destruction that can even be worse than effects of curruption.

He didn't build a world class hospital why do we want to know what is going on with the man. He didn't leave a world class memory or world class economy. How people think flying to London or Germany for medical treatment means class is shocking. It's called self-hating or self harming.

Aside being a former 'military president', he has always been a very reserved, and private person. I watched him in an interview sometimes ago with Trust Tv at his residence in Minna, where he was asked a similar question.
He calmly responded, informing the interviewer, that this has always been his lifestyle even before and after his military career, that put him in such limelight in the past.

To answer your question directly, IBB has always been a very smart, intelligent and rather introverted individual, who talks less, comfortable being alone or with very few close friends, his four children and grand children. Before and after the death of his only wife, Maryam in December 2009, he has always been reserved.
Since August 1993, when he was just 52 years old, and handed over power to late Chief Ernest Shonekan, he has never intentionally put himself or his family in limelight within or outside Nigeria. So, unlike some other past leaders, that like to be always talked about, seen, and heard; IBB at age 83 years today - any supposed illness due to age, has nothing to do with his respected and reserved lifestyle.

Obasnjo is older and yes he exactly goes about jogging, playing squash and attending events in and out of the country.

Infact, see Obasnjo in action recently:

Photos from people paying him courtesy visits show him on a wheelchair. I think he has a problem with walking.

Meanwhile, I don't know why all the abusive responses to this innocent question. There is a serious hunger problem in Nigeria.

I watched that very interview also, since then, I just respect Ibrahim Babangida so much more.
Mind you, he is human and not a saint. A number of wrongs can be traced to him.
Nonetheless, the way he gesticulates calmly when talking and the gap between his teeth, reminds me of my late father and makes me smile.
He practically implemented the plan of Abuja, the beautiful nation's capital, after the Military Government of Murtala Mohammed took the decision to relocate the Federal Capital from Lagos, and IBB finally moved the seat of power from Dodan Barracks to Aso Villa in 1991.

Buhari was the Federal Commissioner for Petroleum Resources from March 1976 to June 1978. That was 7nder General Obasanjo as a military head of state
Essentially, he was the first Petroleum Minister. And it was during this period that the suitcase scandal happened. You can Google that if you are genuinely curious to know the truth
