What exactly did he do here? Does providing advice as a lawyer amount to being the one collecting the funds?

Shattap. Obi's family bought shares in SA Miller before he invested Anambra funds into it. Meaning he was a part owner of a venture he took state funds and gave to in the name of buying worthless shares. A clever scheme.

If you still don't understand what that means, it means he enriched himself and other investors (his partners) at the expense of the state.

But SAB Miller is a public company; how did he enrich himself? please explain

The explanation is right there in what I posted. If you don't get it, copy what I wrote and paste it into ChatGPT and ask it to explain to you like a 6 year old. Believe me, you'll get it.

Falana doesn't need to pocket any money from anybody he is a Renowned lawyer and SAN he makes such money from many of cases he handles.

Sarah Ibrahim is speaking her side of the story which is obviously or may not be the truth but some ignorant fellows with cry and run with it.

I have followed this news on twitter yesterday and Sarah Ibrahim wasn't very truthful.

Hahaha that he had to call Bobrisky to offer him presidential pardon? You must face karma for being a defender of lies and evil.

This is exactly what happens when students are protesting in their various campuses

The organizers of the protest will be cashing out while the innocent souls will be the victims of the protest.

Always use you head , don't joined any yeye protest because most people that organize this protests does it to enrich their pockets.

Oga see stop looking for ways to justify the BS we have in Nigeria. Obi is far better than these guys. Even in developed world they are corrupt, the same with the middle Eastern sheikhs. The difference is they have live of their people and are humane in reasoning.

Your explanation does not make sense. What if his family invested in GT Bank, public company. And he also invested the state fund in there, like every institutional investor do, how has he enriched himself and his family?

Yes I can see you can't get it, that's why I asked you to use ChatGPT. When you do that come back and paste what it tells you.

And btw, the company they invested in was SAB Miller Nigeria, a privately held subsidiary of SAB Miller. If you really want to understand, do what I said. Paste it into ChatGPT and come back with the answer.

I know you won't though, so cheers! cheesy

This is what happens when you just regurgitate rubbish online.

Here is excerpt from the SAB Miller investment:

After the merger of the three companies-SABMiller Nigeria Holdings BV and Brauhaase International Management GMBH-two subsidiaries of Anheuser-Busch InBev, will hold 47.4 per cent and 27.7 per cent equity stake respectively in International Breweries, giving the foreign majority core investor controlling equity stake of 75.1 per cent. Ministry of Finance of Anambra State will hold 4.7 per cent equity stake while other minority shareholders will hold the remaining 20.2 per cent equity stake.

Please dont refer me to chatgpt, just tell me how this is Obi's family business and how they intend to to gain from investing Anambra's funds in there? Thanks in advance.

So what exactly have you posted here? Does it in any way contradict or rather reinforce what I have said?

Like I just told you, and as you have confirmed, no, SAB Miller Niger was not a publicly listed company. The entire thing was privately held.

I will not engage further until you have checked with ChatGPT and openly paste the response you got. But of course, you won't do that, will you? And we all know why.

Ah! So people were actually killed at lekki tollgate? Read that again, and slowly: the APC government in Lagos admitted people died and paid compensation to the victims' families.

Now, we'll see how people will fixate on the ongoing misinformation rather than how much damage has been done to their morality complex and critical thinking, in believing otherwise.

Salvation is still far from this generation of Nigerian youths. Make una dey chop agbado dey go while old anarchists continue to hold future generations down.

Meanwhile! October 1st has been slated for protest and EndSars memorial is 20th. Lol. They think it is book and grammar to contend against devious forces. This is a wasted generation. SMH!

PS_ If Jesus had started His ministry in present day Nigeria, much focus would have been on Judas who compromised than on the purpose Jesus came to fulfil. And you could imagine what would have become of Christianity. A bunch of emotional and unreasonable people, that's what many of us are.

103 people died in Lagos durimg the widespread riots in October 2020. There was violence and anarchy all over Lagos resulting in the loss of civilian and police lives. The panel of inquiry was for the disturbance in Lagos and not some phantom massacre at Lekki Tollgate where DJ Winch personally carried 7 bodies to the soldiers.

After all is said and done, it is now obvious that none looks after righting the wrong but all are looking to share in the booty. Again, it is the brainless zombies killed and maimed in these ego boosting protest that wins. It is a shame and it is a lesson to those joining the so-called fearlessinOctober protest that all are for sale to the highest bidder. The activists, the lawyer(SAN as they call themselves), are nothing but envelope collecting cretins devoid of conscience and sensibility.
