Hi everyone.
I currently use an Mi 11 lite since 2022 and would ideally love to upgrade to 13 lit or 14 lite. Unfortunately I do not seem to see it being sold new anywhere.

I'd like to ask how are the new xiaomi phones like?

Do they hold up the standards of the older models (9 and 10 series)?
Are the mediatek processors actually good and on par with their snapdragon counterparts or generally everything is poor.

Thinking about getting a new phone soon.

Thank you all.

Apart from Mi 11 lite 4G the 5G variant wasn't officially released in Nigeria.

If what you are using is the 5G variant it means you got it from third party sellers.

How ever your current hunt for phones mostly depends on your budget. Until you share your budget then people will know how best to give suggestions.

Yes you're right. I like your attention to detail and knowledge. I use Mi 11 lite 5G NE which wasn't officially released and it's really served me well without any issues whatsoever.

My budget is around 450-500k

Thanks

A balance between the both but I lean more towards performance.

New preferably.

Life sha, I have 4G+ wondering why my phone doesn't show voLTE.
Mine has also stop showing VOLTE since the rainy season arrived.
But what model is your phone?
Mine is Redmi 10 C. I want to know whether it's even my SIM card that is the issue or my phone doesn't support 4G+. Something ordinary Tecno Pop 8 are getting here o.

My current model is the Redmi note 13 4g, but even on my previous device which is the note 10 pro, I never got the voLTE sign on it. Got me wondering if it's my SIM(S)

Oga Genius good morning sir. Please could you help me confirm if Redmi 10 C supports 4G+ on Glo, MTN, and Airtel here in Nigeria please? All I've noticed so far is ordinary 4G, and the phone uses the snapdragon X11 modem so it should have support for carrier aggregation na. I don't know what's happening please help me.

Yes.

2+ years of using it.

The major issue with it is ghost touch.

What's your experience with it?

What is the difference between 4G and 4G+?

Internet speed on the device is pretty fast I don't know why you are so much bothered about the +.

The difference is clear bro. Aside speed, there's another special feature that comes with the 4G+. For instance, If I play Efootball mobile and I connect against other users, it will be slow or skipping because I have only 4G. But when I connect via hotspot to a phone that has 4G+ the game will run butter smooth.
Both MTN, Glo, Airtel, none have been able to give me 4G+ on this phone.
I don't even get VOLTE anymore as well.

Let me help you since that's what you want.

Dial this code
*#*#4636#*#*

Then select the sim slot want LTE on to LTE only.

You are good to go.

If you are tired of it
Dial the same code and switch to the default settings

Yes. It shows 4G. My major issue is that am not getting 4G+ which is very important for my online gaming.

You are excessively worried about nothing.

I have a 5G device and even the 4G is more stable than it. Even in the 4G my phone switches both aggregation (+) and Non Aggregation and I rarely feel the difference.

If you are so worried buy a new device. Redmi 10c have held its own down by the way. It may be a good sign to get a new device
