Greyworld:What goes around comes around. Tinubu played politics with GEJ's decision in 2012. What we ought to have overcome is what we are now experiencing now. Past Presidential candidates in the last general elections all said they will remove subsidy save for Kwakwanso. But floating of the naira and removing subsidy is such a huge burden for the citizens to bear. It is well. |

Magnumproperty: I dont remember asking you if we are on the same page or not. What is wrong with subsidy? Why should there be no money to pay subsidy? Where is d money tinubu "saved" from removing subsidy? If there is no money to pay subsidy, why is there money to finance the lavish and ostentatious lifestyle of the political and military elite? Tinubu, shettima, akpabio, the ministers, governors, members of the national assembly all enjoy free food, security, accommodation, clothing, phone calls, newspaper, medi care, fuel, transportation (new cars) internet for themselves and family all at home and abroad. How come it is subsidy for the citizens that you feel there is no money for? |

vanitybutiwanti: who are the "you guys" you are referring to? at what price did tinubu meet price of fuel and electricity tariff? what is wrong if the naira to dollar is 200-500? in 2015, APC/tinubu said N200 to a dollar was too high. can you show me the discussion you had with "you guys" and "you guys" told you that they want tinubu to turn the entire population to millionaires overnight? is the living standard of nigerians since May 29, 2023 the same way tinubu met it or it has gotten exponentially worse? what numbers should I look at and what is impossible? what will not change even if Jesus is made president? how is this country almost beyond repair? if you claim that the country is almost beyond repair, why was tinubu fighting to be president? 1 Like |

Magnumproperty: Yea. I understand as a politician winning the election is important but playing politics with the subsidy removal in 2012 is why Tinubu is struggling today with his government. Imagine subsidy was removed since 2012 we wont be discussing it today in 2024 and someone who sacrificed our collective good for his personal ambition should NEVER lead. |

vanitybutiwanti: Defending nonsense as usual. You think that you are making sense. Is your Tinubu the first to rule Nigeria. Go to a country like South Africa and increase prices by just 50% at a time and see what happens. If Tinubu must make reforms , should it be in this way? Why should he destroy the country in the name of phantom reforms. |

lexy2014:How much do you have in your foreign reserve to defend the naira at 200-500 range? You think governance is about writing crap and criticising blindly on the Internet? Has there ever been a time that Nigerians don't complain about the president? Maybe we should make you president, talk is very cheap. |

lexy2014:Mr man you're notorious for asking stupiid questions on this platform, The country does not have the forex to stabilise naira within that range, instead of wasting over $20b defending the naira, Tinubu did the right thing by floating the naira, you have just $37b in your reserve, if you spend $20b this year , where will the extra $20b required to defend the naira next year come from? Some of you already criticised buhari for selling crude in Advance to get loans in dollars to defend the naira. Do you think governance is a walk in the park? You want Tinubu to keep printing money in ways and means to pay salaries and send out printed naira to states in FAAC allocations so that the governors will use printed money not backed by productivity to mop up cheap dollars? What do you know? You want him to keep paying fuel and electricity subsidy to the extent that the GEncos are being owed Trillions of naira? |
