In the Old Testament it is true that God told Israel to fight and even encourage an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth. However, our Lord Jesus Christ came and changed that law. He said if your enemy slap you on the right cheek turn the left. He abolished retaliation, war and violence. He told the Jews to love their enemies.
