"It has a Certified Professional Reserves Report (CPR) from D&M, the second largest in the world, which has also been auditing ENI/NAOC, Chevron, Shell and other oil Majors for decades.

With the CPR indicating Gross Recoverable 2p reserves on original 20 per cent Certificate of Proficiency (CoP) stake and new NAOC 20 per cent stake Net Present Value (NPV), (10 per cent is $2 billion respectively), total value of the company has now hit $4 billion, that is, before deduction of acquisition debt of the newly acquired company plus legacy debt.

When appropriate discounts are applied, including working capital, Actual Net Asset Value (NAV) of company, less all long term debt, equity value is about $3 billion."

so Oando don dey release result without releasing result hmmm na wa ooo

Net equity value of $3b (after deducting all debt/ liabilities) hmmmmm which equals N4.8 trillion

meaning at 12b outstanding shares equity value is N400/share

God is watching all of us on 5D

A valuation of N400/Share. And the basis for it. Not just a wet finger number grin.
I made my own valuation of N170 per share too on this thread based on some assumptions.
And some have a valuation of N0 per share based on net assets as deduced from last published annual reports.
And yours is $1 cool

The possibility of Oando selling 5 times its current market price (CMP) in the next one year is 75%. An upstream oil company selling for less than N20 to me is a steal and I am seated permanently in it waiting for the next one year. The fact that Wale was perceived as a cowboy doesn't mean that he can never change his way to return Oando back to those good old days when Oando was paying dividend of N3, infact he will be super proud to do that. Wale has over 4.7 billion units of Oando amounting to N75b at CMP. If Oando should appreciate 5 times in price, that means Wale's worth in Oando alone will amount to N376bn. Don't you think Wale will prefer to be as rich in Oando just like Ovia is rich in Zenith?
Above is a 15 July 2024 post from me in conversation with yMcy56. Oando was still selling at around N17 then.

Once again, I wish to reiterate that the best time to make a kill on a stock is when a perceived bad stock is going through a turnaround, which is the case of Oando. Therefore, let us master the art of entering a stock when it is undervalued due to the prevailing circumstance surrounding the stock. Except one wants to be economical with the truth, it has been evident from the beginning of this government that Oando is a stock that will benefit massively from government support. Another reason why I bought when it was selling between N7 and N10 was because I have nothing to loose, worst case scenario in the event of delisting is for the company to pay me back the same amount I bought. Even at that, the body language of Wale does not suggest that Oando will delist then.

Moving forward, we need to come to terms with the fact that Oando is no longer the same company as we used to see it before. Those outstanding results will still be released in due course and there will be improvement in it to justify the stock price. Infact, I see Oando price around N130 in the next 6 months. But for me, I will be monitoring it to buy at a dip before they release the outstanding result on 23 October 2024. Any price below or around N70 is a buy for me. For those that bought at higher price, I will advise you do not sell at a loss.

NB: Above are my personal opinion please.

Well I don't know about Fidelity as i am not one of their shareholders but UBA gave us N2 which i think is good, @prophet utocha had mentioned it sometime back as a newbie then i just accumulated without "due dilligence" it paid off but i'm also paying for lack of it in other stocks recommended here. I am not sure i can really answer your question, my initial question was just based on logic and what i observed from accumulating Access as well
unite4real:

Can you also kindly relate Access Bank with UBA and Fidelity as well? Let's look at opposite direction too

I will personally start adding to my Oando holdings when I notice a good rate of honesty from Wale. He is the only reason I am really careful with Oando as na just some left over units I still maintained

The bolded is a valid point though. But Wale is the main reason why Oando is able to make a turnaround, due to his connection with the presidency. And like other CEOs of companies in Nigeria, he also has personal ambition to get super-rich. For now, he is on track to lift Oando to greater height either by hook or crook. That is why I have decided to follow the money for now.
