VIO is the body task with safety of the vehicle according to you! What is the work of Road Safety. Vio is not meant to be on the road checking tires and other things attach to the vehicle. Even if you are to be on the road,it must be State road and federal. You are only allowed to check car papers

But the duty of VIO is to stop and impound vehicles that are not road worthy. Nigeria's judges continue to make the study of Law in Nigeria useless.

The primary function of the Road Safety is the safety of the road users.

There should be a law for that before it can be implemented.

They are supposed to wait in their offices until we want to renew our documents to collect the allowee instead of creating traffic, harassing people and confiscating their vehicles. The way we are going, if care is not taken we will just wake up one day and realise that 50% of people living in the cities are dead from all manners of stress.

Don't just say it is backed by law, you have to quote the relevant sections where it is stated by the act establishing the VIO, except you have zero knowledge of the subject matter.

It is not a state affair as VIO officials are usually seen loitering on Federal Roads across the country.

Lagos VIS gave me a bill of 40k for using an expired vehicle license and insurance. I couldn't believe it... They even called it a first time offender bill. Funnily it hasn't been up to a week d previous one expired and it was a traffic light camera that scanned my plate number. As in, there wasn't any officer that stopped me

They work professionally more than police.

This judgement will not stand. I urge the VIO to Appeal it.

This guys don't act like police. Very professional officers.

If the Appeal court fails to reverse this judgement we will shutdown Nigeria with a massive protest.

I made one mistake when I was still a learner on the road. They wave for me and I stopped not knowing that these guys are criminals in white.

Chaii, Dem extort me 18k that day and I was in a hurry to deliver food for burial event.
I complain to my uncle and he scolded me

Fast-forward months later I jam these wereys and I was driving at 20 to 30 mph
Immediately I sight these bastards

The 2 werey still stand for roadthink twice

For my mind I say make una still block road
I for cripple you bastards

And the day you're forcibly stopped, arrested and charged for reckless driving and endangerment of lives of Traffic officers and your vehicle permanently forfeited to the State..your brain will reset.
