Extreme foolishness and the victimhood has done irreparable damage to you thats why you are always a victim and can never be succesful

A name is to serve as a unique identifier as much as possible, So people address you by a name that is distinct and will cause less confusion.

If you say Harris, there are many Harris that can be confused for each other but if you say Kamala there are fewer Kamala than Harris. Kamala will serve more as a unique identifier for Kamala Harris than say Harris

When you say Clinton, There was a popular Clinton that people already know which is Bill, to distinguish, you have to say Hillary which zeroes in on the person you are speaking about same thing with Michelle Obama

The same logic when people are describing Bush. If you say Bush, there are likely different people that can be confused for it, That is why people use the differentiators like HW, W or Jeb. Actually When Jeb Bush ran his campaign he was called Jeb all through and he was not a woman
Even in Basketball, While some male ballers are more popular by their first name, some are more popular with their last name. People address Lebron Shaquille Kobe with their first names and Jordan, Durant, Westbrook by their last names or in your view its implicit bias that's making people address men differently?

Now lets test your theory and tell me if you call these famous women by their first name or last name Nancy Pelosi, Sonia Sotomayor, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Margaret Thatcher

Most people will call the above women by their last name Pelosi, Sotomayor, Thatcher, Stefanik, Okonjo-Iweala and not their first name because that name is distinct enough and causes less confusion to the average listener

Or do you refer to Nancy Pelosi as Nancy, Sonia Sotomayor as Sonia, Margaret Thatcher as Margaret, Elise Stefanik as Elise? or Okonjo-Iweala as Ngozi?

There's an article there with 2 studies in it. (You may want to google what a study is).
One by the World Renowned Mayo Clinic.
The other by Cornell University.
Yet, your know-how and "common sense" is superior.
So, here you are rationalizing it the way only a bullshit artist can.
There's a reason you're a Trump supporter; you're too stupid to recognize the breadth of you own intelligence or lack of it on any matter.
I don't give a shit about your opinion.

This is a good post, but too complex for a lot of people on here.

Reminds me of John Kerry for president. He sounded so much like he was campaigning to post graduates that even undergrads didn't understand what the heck he was saying.

Exactly, Dems usually pick one of the smartest people on the Bench, Republicans still call them dumb, while Republicans pick people like Trump and Bush who are, well, not the smartest on their bench.

Incredibly stupid.

Simple does it and it doesnt take long to destroy weak arguments. I have asked you how you address several women, shown you men who are addressed by their first names

That is how education works, not to regurgitate what someone told you, That is why you are too stupidd, gullible and easily manipulated. That is why the Democratic elites are cashing out and you are claiming victimhood

You're right. She is 14. I say niece, but this one is an older friend's daughter, who sees me as a 2nd dad. Her dad didn't grow in the US, so doesn't see these things the way I see them.
I was somewhat disappointed when she said that, but was more concerned as to where it was coming from. I assume she picked up the language somewhere in the spaces she traverses. And it made me even more concerned that she had internalized it, feeling inferior. We had a long chat about it. And I did something similar to what you said.
1.) I made her write me a 2 page paper on her arguments as to why she thinks what she thinks. Include in it some of the policies that concern her as a black girl and whether it would be better if Trump won vs. Kamala. She's really smart and in the paper she made a good point. She said she is concerned that people don't see women as ready to be President so that may make Trump win. undecided
2.)I made her watch the debates with me. And she was super super impressed with Harris.
3.) Also told her exactly what you said, that she should volunteer at a phone bank for whatever candidate she wants to win. Told her that she has to be invested in the change she wants.

I call her Kamala too because it is her unique identifier for me.

I can also see your point too but I don't think that is a big deal.

So
1.) I dismissed his argument off hand as Harris's name doesn't need differentiation as opposed to say the Clintons. There is no reason not to call her VP Harris as we do VP Pence (I can barely even remember his first name). The two studies that were linked in the article studied 1.) Doctors and 2.)Professionals. Similar implied biases.

The Mayo Clinic Study found:
Women doctors are twice as likely to be called by their first names than male doctors
Women patients were 40% less likely to use their doctors' first names.

And the Cornell University Study found:
A Cornell University report from 2018 noted how this discrepancy starts young — college students were nearly 56% more likely to call a male professor by his last name on the review site Rate My Professor. Male and female doctors, professors, and even vice presidents all have to earn their degrees and titles the same way, and yet we insist on calling professional women by their first names.

I think it's a real thing. And when I heard about this a month ago, I thought about it in my life and said wow never realized I did that. That's the nature of implied biases.
I've since made every effort to address it. It's hard.

2.)I think Politicians prefer people calling them by their first names esp. Even Biden. It's intended to breed familiarity. But we still call him by his honorific/title and last name Pres. Biden. Not so much for women esp. VP Harris. The article speaks of the same thing.

3.) And there are some battles people want to stay away from because they don't want to call attention to it. Just Obama and race. I think Harris doesn't want to reinforce to certain people that she is a woman in this race. So, it's one battle she'll not fight.

Since the Trump campaign knows that women’s rights might cost them a lot of votes, Melania is indirectly campaigning for her husband.
