Thanks chief, I was also looking at the BMW 330i 2018 it costs almost the same and I’ve seen quite remarkable comments about it, what do you think? Or is there a BMW around that range that you can recommend?

i believe that is an F30 BMW 2015 to 2019 model years.

It was fitted with a B48B20 engine which is a 4cylinder turbo charged engine. Dont know whats with you and turbo engines grin

from research i got online, it is a fairly reliable vehicle and
1. Expect gasket replacement after 100k miles which are very hard to get to meaning, it is an expensive fix and should be done by a qualified technician "if the need arises"
2. The turbo according to users online is rated at 140k miles before you may need to replace, not always the norm though.
3. from the car repair group that i belong, finding BMW parts is always easy in cities like Lagos , Abuja and PH brand new, though they are somehow expensive.
4. BMW is very rare to come by because they are expensive to maintain and they require premium gas and fluid, though maybe dangote petrol can help with better octane fuel.

for me i would have preferred you pick a 340i, with the straight 6 turbo charged engine, more balanced, more refined and highly reliable.

Thanks, I’ll look at that
Please do you have any idea how much the 340i costs, both foreign and naija used

No idea of the cost but a 330i of same generation cost 40m, the 340i should exceed that by a little margin

Good morning. Please gurus in the house. Going for my second car, had a lexus es350 2008/2009 model and enjoyed every bit of it. Now I want an SUV. Please recommend.
2013/2014 RX350, 2014/2015 Toyota highlander or GX 460.....considering reliability, luxury and class.

RX350 is identical to highlander only that the RX is more luxurious and has 3rd row seats as an option compared to the highlander.

if fueling isnt an issue, the GX is a good vehicle to own too just that fueling and maintenance cost would be more expensive than the other options.

If the Kia cerato was those ones bought brndnew in Nigeria, please kindly avoid it like a plague sha just to have peace of mind.

yes the camry is very good make it 05 or 06 model years. But have in mind those vehicles are robber magnet, engine of the 4cylinder burns oil, those vehicle shocks arent that strong. i would say find

09-11 honda accord
08 to 2010 kia/Hyundai optima/sonata
08 to 11 and buy instead

the are all great options.. 4 cylinder of camry is prone to oil burn..
Honda Civic 07 has low ground clearance especially if road conditions isn't great... and avoid civic if you are buying Nigerian used!

fuel economy - civic wins it
reliability should be camry but you'd change absorbers often sha if road isn't great
the elantra is a good balance of everything

If you can find a cerrato without electrical abuse, you'd be fine.

The engine is okay on that model. It's the rio that eats its engines.

The trans on that model is sturdy. Most issues with trans on that model stems from ecu which is now easy to either repair or replace.

It's a good car. Just avoid fender benders cos the body doesn't really look nice after going to panel beaters.
Above is for the 2013 model.
The 010 to 12 model is also good.

No.

The better option is the American spec.
And thoroughly inspect before purchase, run from any sign of abuse.

Also run from high mileage
