Rivers LG Election: Rt. Hon. (Dr) Enyiada Cookey-Gam, Chairmanship candidate for Action People's Party(APP) announced winner of the just Concluded LGA Chairmanship Election in Opobo/Nkoro Local Government Area,Today 5th October 2024.

Ward 1 to ward 11 councilorship candidates of the APP have also been announced winners of the just concluded councillorship elections in Opobo/Nkoro LGA.

Why the delay in declaring other LGA. The election was very peaceful and it's surprising how Fubara gave others level playing ground. I respect the governor for this.

Why Tinubu appoint only those that are there to fight everyone? Can't he rule and still bring everyone together?

Fubara simply obeyed supreme court judgement that LGA elections MUST be conducted before Oct 30. Supreme court is the highest court in the land.

Where there are two equities the first in time prevails is a principle of equity. But in truth our courts are becoming useless. Flagrant judicial rascality on display. It's a sad day when you become the plaything of politicians.
