Ole! Barawo banza! He can't seem to get his eyes of that money is the thing! He conned his followers for many decades and built a kingdom for himself using lies and deceit. He can't stop himself even after his pretend apology the other day. Now, he demands an end so all his other lies can continue to go unquestioned. Imagine this old thief who scammed people for much of his life wanting to keep lying until the end! undecided

You see am naaaa?

Just as we knew from the last post you and I collided that "his apology and science theory was a scam".

You people are the most lost on planet earth, i don't know how you guys brains are wired. Open your mind and think naturally. A lot of you are slaves to ignorance.
One thing i have learnt is reading can make you knowledgeable and wise and also ignorant and foolish, it depends on what you read.

Christianity will be confusing to those who don't have the spirit to discern

Bishop Oyedepo said something today remarkable from today's sermon cause I streamed the 2nd service live from Ota

He was quoting Jesus in John 6 vs 63 which stated that flesh profits nothing but the spirit gives Life

St Paul also stated in 2 Corinthians 3 that the letter killeth but the spirit gives Life

Bishop Oyedepo stated that many people follow just the written verses in the bible but didn't get the spirit of the text which is what gives Life.

So Christianity is confusing to those who don't get the understanding from spirit in the Bible text they are quoting

Like Adeboye said those convinced and those not convinced

I personally I am convinced concerning tithe paying

Even if everyone disagrees
I have a personal conviction with my God

I have paid tithes of very good money to my church
And I will continue to do so

Everyone and his belief

Christianity would always remain an unfunny joke. Supposed divine messages that lack objectivity, so much so that no 2 christains wholistically agree on their texts, yet make claims about its univocality. Tbf its actually funny, so maybe a funny joke.
Adeboye was right. There is no way you can satisfy everybody. If Christians agree on everything you'll say they are brainwashed and gullible
More they are questioning things and you call them a joke
You are confused bro
Re: What You Should Do If Your Pastor Rejects Tithe — Adeboye by ManOfSon: 2:14pm On Oct 06
Because those who brought Christianity to you want you to stay confused and arguing over issues like this. The Jews whose Bible the old testament is, they don't read the new testament because they don't believe Christ is the Messiah. However, you who believe Christ are using their Bible to cause confusion.

emonis88:

Then y is it part of the Bible for christians?

Slowly read verse 28 and 29 of what I posted. Now answer these questions.

1) Where did God ask for money as tithes?
2) Where did God request for gentiles to tithe?
3) Where can we find examples of Israelites tithing when they were in exile?
4) Where can we find examples of Jesus or the Apostles requesting for tithes to support themselves?

Provide the book, chapter and verses to answer the above questions since you’re abundant in understanding.

I’m also curious to know how a Nigerian pastor with numerous landed properties now automatically translates to a Levite without inheritance in Deuteronomy 14 v 28-29.

To your last paragraph, oya mi lenu o (I am also surprised o.)

How did pastors suddenly become Levites grin

Ignorance is a huge problem. grin

This controversy has gone on for so long and I can tell you, it has not even started.

My simple advice to anyone who truly loves God and want to obey him is this;
Know God for yourself, and stop following acclaimed men of God's who claim to have the holy Spirit for themselves only.

The holy spirit is available for all who truly desire him. Seek the scripture and know the truth about Christ and salvation.

Christianity began from Jesus, focus on his life and teachings, his laid down dortrines, and that of his apostles who laid the foundation fir Christianity.
Stop dancing into the old testament to dig out dortrines for yourselves. You are not Jews or judaist.
Those ones do not believe Christ has come. They did not accept Jesus. And still don't till this day.

God will not come down from heaven to tell u the truth. It is left to you to seek the truth for yourself. Your pastor does not have 2 heads. He understands English just like you do. Study the word.

Has there ever been a time Adeboye forced you or any member of your family to pay tithe?
Re: What You Should Do If Your Pastor Rejects Tithe — Adeboye by ManOfSon: 2:19pm On Oct 06
Jesus Christ mentioned tithe only once - Matthew 23:23. But because it didn't suit their purpose, Nigerian pastors rarely mentioned or referred to it until recently when people started questioning their teachings on tithe. You can read and interpret it for yourself.

Ok, so where did Jesus and the Apostles ask for and collect tithes? 🤷🏿‍♂️

As a proud Christian, I'm troubled by the current state of Christianity. While the core faith remains untainted, I believe the doctrine and leadership have strayed. Islam, in contrast, commands my respect for its unity and coherence.

Christianity's excessive freedom has led to unchecked proliferation of self-serving churches, fostering fake miracles and testimonies. This commercialization of faith has reduced the religion to a mockery. The fragmentation of Christian denominations, starting with the departure from the Catholic Church, has created chaos.

Historically, the Catholic Church fought to maintain unity, recognizing the dangers of division. Today, we reap the consequences of that fragmentation. Unlike Islam's unified front, Christianity's disparate branches have spawned unchecked chaos.

Only God can save Christianity now. Our disunity has been a catastrophic mistake.

I understand your perception of what you think the church should be in contrast to what it is today. However, it's important to recognize that your view of what is "right" is shaped by the indoctrination, moral, and cultural influences you were raised with.

Since the Roman Catholic Church was established in 325 AD at the behest of the emperor, there have been conflicts over its doctrines. Those who opposed the new teachings were often labeled heretics, excommunicated, or even killed. This division continued for centuries, even after figures like Martin Luther formed the Lutheran Church in protest of the church's practices that diverged from biblical teachings.

The Roman Catholic Church was created as a system for the benefit of the government, not necessarily to preach Christ, as evangelized out of Egypt. They tampered with the message, the character, created their own doctrines, and forced all to accept them. Fortunately, we know enough to definitively say that the Roman Catholic Church wasn’t serving the people’s needs, but rather the government’s agenda and their own greed.

The Roman Empire fell for the church to reign for hundreds of years after, and it was keen on demanding tributes and killing in the name of God as they have been, even today, the Vatican as a location and her artifacts are testaments to the bloodiness of the Catholic Church.

Another uncomfortable truth is that the Church played a significant role in approving the rise of slavery and has been a key player in many wars throughout history, which speaks to her hypocrisy.

Much like the Lutheran, Anglican, and Pentecostal churches, each was created based on differing views of Christianity. What we must recognize is that it’s human beings, influenced by their societal and cultural backgrounds, who shape church doctrines. It’s not the Bible which is littered with discrepancies or the Holy Spirit that defines what is right, as we can see from the countless variations in Christian practices, doctrines, and beliefs today.

Within the Islamic Faith, there exists different sects. It's easier to summarise another until you go deeper.

All descendants of Jacob (scattered by God) who abide under the Law of Moses heap God's curses on themselves. God of Israel cursed all of Israel. Only curses follow those who abide by that Law.
Can you Please Address the Bolded , I don't under Pls. About the Descendants of Jacob...
Read what God of Israel — YHWH — proclaimed in Deuteronomy 28 through 30 would eventually become of His Israel. Anyone born of and remained under the blood of Jacob carries upon him God's curse on Israel. The only redemption from that curse is salvation through Jesus Christ which is available only to those born of the bloodline of Jesus Christ. undecided
