Yes Meliforme, Yes. But now let us hope he can translate that to the Super Eagles. That is the whole point.

rohr called up a player from Hungary, called up okoye from div 4 Germany. I promise you the comparison is not ridiculous at all
You know we had a goalkeeping issue then, Nigeria was in desperate search for a goalkeeper after ikeme left even many still criticise Rohr for that decision. but in this case we don't have shortage of defenders.

Opportunity or no opportunity, Ejuke is very good.
Currently Sevilla's most creative outlet.
Na one player I dey use one eye look and na Boniface…if he failed to step in very well in place of Osimhen then he is not for eagles….Ejuke deserves the call up but if given the chance he must show he is ready this time around

Na this kind thinking make us a country we dey where we dey. We continue to justify what is not right by comparing or blaming those who came before. A player that has not even started a game for his club ( or even made the bench) is been justified. I wish Una the best. Like I said earlier it's Libya so no worries. 3 years from now Ihefu FC go dey where e dey no improvement.
The same people will scatter this place if nwakali is invited. But they are OK with a 3rd division bench warmer.

Even Victor Boniface will get the chance again to prove that he can step in big in Osimhen's absence. The lad is a highly confident player. I hope to see him finally take off in terms of Goals in the GWG.

Lookman too needed some time to finally come into his own in the GWG but we persisted with him thankfully during the "struggle" window and we are reaping the fruits of the quality that was always there.

Goals and Assists vs Sao Tome (2 games) were his only true impact but it was the last Afcon that truly saw Lookman finally grow strong into the team.

I hope the same for Bony sooner than later.

We have shortage of keepers and na regional league be the solution Abi….fact Okoye was a product of agent deal that later paid off

Alright, elder Kog45.

I watch Sevilla games because of Ejuke, but his Super Eagles performance is more important.
He will deliver in S.E.

yes the agent took advantage of the situation on ground then. So in this ihefu case, on what ground was he invited in the place.

You don't need to know the fellow, inviting a player from Tanzania league, then 3rd division can never go down well for any right thinking fan of SE. They is something behind such invitation, not like he progress from u20 or u17
I don't know about you but I don't need "an NFF executive member told me" stories to make an opinion about players

Ejuke was impressive today without a doubt as he has been all season so far. His chances creation actions keep going up. He earned his recall but I pray he doesn't mess up this second chance if given the run by Egu. One more chance to win our hearts again.

We all pray so. I believe he'll come good tho.

He's a decent shot stopper alright.

But, there's something lacking in his game, something we're used to seeing in Rufai, Enyeama, Ejide, Ikeme and recently Nwabali, and that is a commanding presence.

He just doesn't have that yet, I hope he gets it as he ages.

Stop mincing words and say it as it is. He isn't good enough.

Watched him against Inter Milan and I wasn't impressed.

I've seen a few other games too. Guy shakes like a jellyfish and reminds me of Daniel Akpeyi.

There's no save he's made that a half decent keeper shouldn't have made.

I'm happy he's first choice in his club and he plays regularly but I am not impressed by him.

I wouldn't even have him as 2nd choice goalie in the Super Eagles.

I pray nothing happens to Nwabali and he'll always be available for our games cos his absence will be too loud when we have to rely on Maduka Okoye
