Ahmed Musa, the former Super Eagles captain, made a sensational return to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) with a brace for Kano Pillars.

The 31-year-old forward helped his side secure a 2-0 victory over Sunshine Stars at the Sani Abacha Stadium on Sunday.

Miss, who rejoined Kano Pillars in October after a brief spell at Sivasspor, wasted no time making an impact on his debut.

Just four minutes into the match, he capitalized on a loose ball inside the box to fire home a powerful shot and give Kano Pillars an early lead.

The former CSKA Moscow star continued to dominate the game, and in the second half, he sealed the victory with another impressive goal. Musa placed a precise finish past Sunshine Stars goalkeeper Emmanuel Ofori to extend Kano Pillars' advantage.

Although Musa had the chance to complete a hat-trick in the 70th minute, his penalty struck the woodwork.

However, his two goals were enough to secure the win for Kano Pillars, who finished the match 2-0.

Musa’s return to the NPFL is a significant boost for the league, and his performance against Sunshine Stars has sent a message to the rest of the teams.

The former Super Eagles captain's presence will undoubtedly attract more attention to the NPFL and help to raise its profile both domestically and internationally.

Now that European clubs have rejected him hope will retire from national team and give the younger ones chance.

He did well for the national team.

But it's time to go.

What is he looking for, he has made enough money to settle down and watch all his investments grow...

The likes of Kroos that left football at an early age, you think they don't have sense?

You better don't go and collapse on the field

Relax, this is what he loves doing. He has enough money and sense. He is successful. He has travelled far and wide and has played for the biggest teams in the world. But he still loves to play football.

If you find something you love, it’s hard to let go especially when you can still do it. Coming back to Kano Pillars is a good way to end it.

Since 2014 he has been 29 to 31 years. Surprisingly, he is not changing much... Good food and good lifestyle . Alcohol is a bastard, if you can avoid alcohol, you will look young for a very long time

No, football shouldn't be what will bring him out of idleness, footballers have their time range, most especially Nigerian footballer who like reducing age...

He should find something that is not strenuous to do

How many footballer don't have money, most especially those who have played in Europe and how many of them have not travelled far and wide?

Football is just a temporal thing, that's why it has a retirement age..

He should retire now and use the little strength he has to rest and delve into something else.. Until he collapse for field before unah eyes go open, even those who he's older than are collapsing, not to talk of a player almost 50years old
