Wike the clueless drunkard will never allow peace to rein in Rivers State. You see when you turn yourself as thin gods, The God Almighty will always eliminate you and messed you well. Now Wike and his structures has been eliminated completely in Rivers State politics. The rivers people are heavily with Governor Fubara. Wike will only rant and wail in the next 8 years of Governor Fubara government

seriously, The Abuja beast is now the one at the receiving end. Wike structures has been heavily defeated in Rivers State . Ameachi and his camp are just laughing at him. It’s too late for Wike to make Governor Fubara government ungovernable. Very late here. I only pity Wike and his political future in Rivers State and Nigeria politics. Rivers People and Nigeria people have known who he’s and what he represents. Wike has been heavily defeated in Rivers State politics. He’s just a clueless loser.

Don’t beg him, he only gave you an opportunity and someone did same for him, your duty is to serve the state and a single autocratic entity cannot stop that, he refused to pay pensioners for 8 years, cancelled off student sponsorship for river state indigenes studying abroad amongst other things and then built elephant projects all over the place from the remaining cash he forgot to loot.

Let him focus on his ministerial position and his issues with PDP, he’s everything he is trying to call you, he betrayed his party and kept doing that.

There is actually no demon as bd as Greed.

Due to Greed, little boys are rubbing shit into his eyes.

He amassed so much wealth, Yet no sleep, no health, no rest.

Let them declare him non grata in his State, let him remain an ABuja politician.
The problems with old thugs is that the older they get the more thuggish and deadlier they become

I once knelt to beg for peace to reign, it’s time Wike let go: Fubara

Governor Sim Fubara of Rivers State said he once knelt down to beg his predecessor, Nyesom Wike, to allow peace to reign.

However, he now believes it is time for Mr Wike to realise he cannot win every fight and to let go.

“There is nothing I have not done on this earth for peace to reign. I can tell you the number of times I have knelt to beg that let’s allow this issue to go. I have done everything,” Mr. Fubara said in an interview with Channels TV on Monday when asked what he has done to resolve the political feud between him and his one-time political godfather, Mr Wike.

When asked what message he would convey to Mr Wike, the incumbent FCT minister and his former political ally turned adversary, Mr Fubara said, “I’ll tell him (Wike) that it has gotten to a point where he needs to let go. We need peace in this state.”

He added, “You don’t necessarily need to win all the fights; at times, you just let go for the sake of the good people of Rivers State and the love that you have always professed for the state. We need to secure the state. Fubara will leave tomorrow. Who knows who is going to come? It might be through him or another person, but we need to secure the state.”

Lingering political hostility between Mr Fubara and Mr Wike took a messier trajectory as the state conducted local council elections over the weekend.

Despite the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), the All Progressives Congress (APC), and the police withdrawing from the electoral process, Mr Fubara proceeded with the election on Saturday.

Mr Fubara raised concerns on Sunday evening, shortly before swearing in 23 newly elected local government chairpersons, warning that some disgruntled political actors were mobilising to undermine the state’s stability on Monday.

Bloody clashes erupted in at least four local government areas, with sections of buildings in Eleme, Ikwerre, and Emohua council premises set ablaze by thugs, while sporadic gunfire was reported in Ahoada East as a means of resisting the newly appointed council officials.

The attacks on local government secretariats followed the withdrawal of police officers assigned to secure the 23 council premises, as ordered by the commissioner of police.

95% of people commenting on this thread are displaying their crass illiteracy and stupidity.

Note down this comment. Fubara will complete 4 years without achieving anything as governor. He'll loot Rivers state money and keep hiding under the guise of fighting Wike. Last last, Rivers people will suffer the consequence.

Akwa Ibom is a beautiful and developed state in Nigeria because of continuity and lack of unnecessary fighting between present governor and former governors.

Most state that have this fights never witness any progress and Rivers state will never be an exception

Fubara should not relent...

Wike positioned people at the judiciary to continue his fight...

After the election, he wants to sponsor his uncouth thugs to seek for court redress on the election.

But he messed up trying to control a governor when he refused to be controlled as a governor....

In terms of being a performing leader, he is excellent. No doubt is the reason why he has a lot of followers.
But in terms of being a power drunk, he has scored zero. Because he cannot use his senses.

What he meant is that he begged him to give him a little percentage that won't hinder his work as Governor of Rivers state instead of that huge sums he demands every month but he refused

Fubara is actually trying to reach out.

Wike too should respect himself and back down to save face.

He can use that to regroup and live to fight another day instead of being eventually humiliated.

Compromise and meet Fubara halfway. For now.

Tinubu behaved dumb to the extent that even his supporters abused him and his opponents mocked him when Buhari, El Rufai, Saraki, Fayemi, Akeredolu, Dino, Aregbesola, Amosun all treated him like garbage.

Where are they all today, compared to BAT?
