izzou:In 2022, we hired two coaster buses plus two small ones to convey people from Port Harcourt to Benin for my church biennial youth convention. Our total bill was not up to 250k including the stipend for feeding. Last two months. Same convention, same distance. Smaller number of delegates. Two wagon buses. Our bill for transport alone was 1.6m 3 Likes |

Unlimited22: Una wey dey always travel dey try sha. I always intentionally excuse myself from any form of interstate travel except for work and the cost of travelling will definitely be funded by the company. I no dey follow anybody go anywhere wey pass Ogun State. (And it's even parts of Ogun state that's closer to Lagos). |

BlueRayDick:😂😂😂😂 When I was going to camp at the end of 2022, I carry 12k go from PH to Jalingo. When I was coming back from Jalingo last December I came back with 30k In 2022 I dey use 3500 run PH to Benin with Muyi Line. Now na 13k-15k |
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 12:14pm On Oct 09 |
izzou: People will travel, it's just that they will be stranded when it's time to go back to their bases. They will burden people who didn't travel to help send them transport with promise that they will pay back once they are back to base and start hustling. Some will borrow from Palmpay or Opay just to return back to base and then start hustling to offset their debt in the new year. 1 Like |

BlueRayDick: It depends on where you come from sha... I am from the east, and my family and extended family are from there. You cannot just draw a line on where you should visit or not. I am assuming you're from Lagos, Ogun or Oyo. If you were from Ekiti or Ondo, you for dey reach there 1 Like |

Unlimited22: Na wa o. Now with this new increment the prices will go further higher As at few minutes ago someone sent a video to our group chat, NNPC at Falomo Ikoyi has adjusted their pump price from N855 to N998 per liter |
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 12:20pm On Oct 09 |
BlueRayDick: I doubt oh I left Lagos for the village early January, and the east was scanty. Many didn't come back. Most my cousins didn't come. Insecurity for one, and with this rising cost of everything, na all of us go dey this Lagos As it is, only your transport is 100k. You never budget wetin you wan use take make noise for village. Abeg Abeg |
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 12:21pm On Oct 09 |
izzou: You are right sha. But I was referring to traveling for engagements like a friend doing wedding, going for burials, etc outside your state of residence. Right from time I always avoid those kind of travel. I am not anti-social o, but once the social event is taking me out of Lagos the chance of me attending is like 3% out of 100% |
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 12:23pm On Oct 09 |
BlueRayDick: I only travel if the person is very very close to me. My other travels are what will bring money for me. |
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 12:24pm On Oct 09 |
izzou: I've always been of the opinion that if u send like 50k out of the 100k transport to people at home, they will appreciate it more than ur presence. U fit do video call with them , technology has made things easier. But when I say some of these things people always look me with one kind eyes 2 Likes |

Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by nihilistjnr: 12:47pm On Oct 09 |
BlueRayDick: My house is all electric I no dey pay gas but that goes someway to the huge cost, but still utilitt bill of 400 to 500 kpon a month is murderous. Na why I dey breakdown how the odds are stacked against those who are trying to do more in life in this country. Infact eff that, the moment you start a family, your problems have started. I've always been the optimistic pro-japa guy, and I still am. I just don't think.tjis country is the place you come to win in life anymore. You will still do better than in Nigeris by far of course, but after a while you would inevitably stop comparing your quality to life here to what's obtainable in Lagos because you would have far surpassed that within year or two of your arrival. It's when you decide ro loom forward here that you will encounter and experience what I'm saying. 16 Likes 1 Share |
