Sugarboyy:

Has Boniface missed any clear cut chances in this match?

Well, those times he tried to dribble, Osimhen just turns and shoots

Whenever Osimhen isn't playing, we should learn to accept that the SE might not score more than a goal

He was in our last match against Rwanda, why didn't we score?
Setaleonoz:
We miss osimhen …his presence alone would bring fear in libya defense

[quote author=omar22 post=132385640]North African teams are here to frustrate Nigeria into a 0-0 or sneak an away win, they will waste time

Why are we playing with 4 at the back when they are not attacking us?

we are moving the ball too slowly [/quote
Looks to be working so far..

Benin Republic leads 1-0 vs Rwanda and currently lead the group based on current HT scores. We gotta find our own way to Goal.

Surprise ball switches to the other channel away from the congested channel of play would go some way to disorganise the compact low block from the Libyans.

All in all, Simon and Lookman have been able to get the better of their channel markers, it's just the final ball and the finish left for the couple of chances we create.

Boniface might just be a club champion type of player at best, some players just don't have that "IT" factor in the national team.

Not that the team won't play well, but that extra ginger that Osimhen presence brings won't be there

The boys have played well. Just need a goal and we should be fine.

Boniface should simply his game a bit more. Just shoot on sight.

The Iwobi slander needs to stop. See how much better he’s performing when he’s playing in his preferred position? Putting him as a CM does him no benefit.

I’d like to see Onyedika come on for Ndidi at HT or at 60min.

How many times will boniface be given chance to lead the line, i dont even think he has touched the ball after 45mins. Nobody uses conventional standing strikers again

Maybe we need a striker with physical presence in the match.
I think Boniface should be substituted for Awoniyi.
Boniface is good but there is nothing he brings to this team that Lookman and Iwobi doesn't and hasn't offered more so far

Half our team are so lacking technically it's almost like they don't know how to play football.

Aina, Bruno, Ekong, Onyeka are all poor ball to feet. Ndidi has the right ideas but poor execution. Simon is good but needed a change in position to show it. Bassey is very formidable.

Iwobi, Lookman, Boniface are all class. Every touch has intent with these guys. The left wing is the main outlet not because of the wingers or wingbacks, but because Ndidi and Iwobi are making most of their progressive passes in that direction.

I think the coaches really need to try that Victor Olatunji guy and the Iheikheina guy of Monaco

Let's invite fresh forwards and see if we can get oshimen and lookman replacement should push come to shove

Because if we must win our remaining world cup qualifying matches we must learn to get places to stand in absence of oshimen and lookman

We need to switch to a 3man defense abeg. These Libyans are wack. They're not even fast either. Painful we have done everything here but no goal. We need hotter shots on goal. Sting someone wey wan block road like dem Rigobert song shots. Must be get the goal inside the box ni?

Beautiful play by Lookman and Onyeka.

What is Man City using? Oh! Maybe Haaland is a goalkeeper.

Lewandoski must be a defender at Barca!
