If Russia tries to use the Sahel countries as proxy Nigeria will take them out. Nigeria easily has force dominance over its area of interest.

And by the way these planes are not relics. Nobody does dog fights any more. If I see you first, you are gone. It's down to Avionics and weapons systems not speed. And the M34 has powerful stand off Avionics. Even the Israelis use it. For deep penetration attack Nigeria has the J series.
