I can't even do anything both on app and USSD code, I sense commercial banks did a meeting and they all agreed to phase the maintenance instead of them doing maintenance together which will cripple the economy...

I hope they finalize their maintenance soon..
GTB said this morning it will be over

It took other banks like a week to sort out the maintenance, I doubt GTB can do that within 4days.

ok. It's always good to remove your money before the maintenance.

People should have known their maintenance will likely extend beyond the 9am they stated.

They moved it to 12noon.

But my atm card worked yesterday sha.

By Wednesday everything should be normal.

Most Nigerian banks are not just reliable in terms of service delivery and technology. Surprisingly, Wema Bank, one of the most underrated banks in Nigeria, has always kept me moving both within and outside Nigeria. They have their shortcomings too, no doubt about it, but their service is somewhat reliable compared to many of these so-called 'posh banks.'

That guy seems like a very fake ass individual. I don't know why he usually seeks validation from Nairalandas by uploading his images to prove an inconsequential point.

I have four functional accounts because of this rubbish that Nigerian banks do. Spread your money in multiple accounts to avoid see finish from naija banks.

Maybe he has more of his funds in that account unlike the other banks' account or he finds the bank efficient and handy and prefers using the account with the bank for some transactions like this while reserving other bank account for other transactions

The problem with some Nigerians is that they don't read mails. GT has been sending mails and updates on their upgrade. It's not even an issue but software upgrade. They've also been posting on their platforms. Customers should exercise patience.

how does giving service mean there it is not service disruption?

was service not disrupted or has the meaning of service disruption changed?

I don't bank with GTB. But I saw the information of their upgrade. A wise person would have moved some money elsewhere pro to that.

I believe you’re a reasonable adult. When Power companies do maintainance do they leave the lights on? They’ve alerted customers on this before the weekend if they didn’t alert you you will still complain. Have other bank accounts just in case a bank has an issue or problem at hand.
