Quite expected. ‘Smart’ for those that bought at NASD. Once those profit takers are done, the price will resume its climb to above N1000 probably from N597.00 . The Shell deal will be a huge catalyst. I will be buying more units on every 10% drop.
738.00✅
665.00
597.00
I don't think it has dropped to #738 yet. Last 100kunits deal I saw was #772

Why are they buying in 80kunits tho

I’m patiently waiting for it at 600 to re-enter. Hopefully before results grin

Even though it is currently on full offer. Heavy mop up is ongoing. It will be interesting to see resistance and bounce back up price.

I recently likened Aradel’s management integrity with that of NIDF in the manner they create shareholder value and try to increase dividend payout to shareholders.
Well, they seem to be proving me right small, small.
Q3 quarterly dividend of N5.09/share has been announced.
The highest payout so far!
We will still chop another one in 3 months time.
Dividend aristocrats don’t fail to keep this in your portfolio.

Looks like the sellers are not selling up to 100k units but at lower amounts. Perhaps so as not to drag the price down. Or what else could be happening?

I have some units in my portfolio, the only thing that stops me from buying more is the liquidity. It’s not great

Why did you say it's not great?

* NIDF Q3 dividend = N5.09
Representing 24.4% yield......
* Growth in performance Y-on-Y

Any long term or dividend investor should have this stock in his/her portfolio

What is the current price of Dangote Sugar because my broker is reporting ₦33.70.

Which website can I get near real-time price of NGX stocks?

The dividend yield is fantastic. I was referring to the liquidity. I don’t have the data on hand but I’m sure 100k units does not trade daily. I personally know someone who has been trying to exit their holdings for quite some time now

But the above units were at N738 from your clip. That was when it dipped 10%. If it closes at 738 again then it’s likely it will dip another 10%

The lowest officially as at now is N772 (with 100k moved)

Quite a lot of picks @738 actually......even though it is/was still on full offer ..
We may never know what those guys could be up to sometimes...

Meanwhile, GTB is sighted @52!

Bids are always available, only that it used to be small and at low prices....
However, like OakPearl said, NIDF is well managed.

Capital market is like a gangan drum, what faces a person is backing another person, we don't need to do banter as if it is APC vs PDP or Man Utd vs Chelsea. Access bank has the biggest total assets in the banking sector, yet the price of GTB and Zenith is like 2ce of it, both banks declared better profit and dividend, to some people GTB and Zenith are efficient while some will say Access has a future prospect. 2 truth can coexist. Despite Wale failed promises for several years some people still believe in Oando. Aradel has been consistent in profitability and dividend, but some people are throwing banter because the stock lose today. Aradel traded over 20B naira worth of value in a trading day this week. Do we think those investors are fools or just want to throw money around ? How many stocks has traded 20B naira a day in this year? I don't think there is any.
We have Investors, Traders and gamblers in capital markets and the strategy for each differs. Please don't let us create fear in new biz mind, we need to tune down the level of banter in this platform.

Two truth can coexist.

N.B: I do not have investment in both Oando and Aradel, but I noticed that we are about to have a new quarrel on the 2 stocks.

Thank you all.

Likely to dip to N695.60 tomorrow and still further by Friday. Monday will be a new game altogether. I don’t think the key players want it below N600. This is more like a hair that has grown bushy by the listing on NGX, so just some haircut before it’s allowed to grow back to Afro. There must be news known to the key players but not yet out hence their need to reposition before the big move-up or announcement. Big players don’t buy up but down…. and they will, even if they have to force the price down.
