yesloaded: The way you people argue shows how crassly unintelligent Nigerians are and the sad thing is how they showcase their ignorance with so much confidence and sadly your ilk are in the majority. Hasn't the allocation your state gov receives from faac also increased, what is your gov doing with several intervention and bail out funds from the FG ....what is the critical economic development and sustainability project your gov is doing whether in agric, industrialisation,MSME, education or health? Someone has taken minimum wage up by almost 150% and you still see nothing good in that. 1 Like |

yesloaded: Is it the FG that has advised govs not to do any development in their states....what stops abia from being the industrial hub of the SE. What stops Enugu from having the best medical facilities in the SE and Ebonyi being the agric hub which would generate billions for that region ....but you need food, education for your children and health care and your gov points to Abuja and you sheepishly follow his deceit despite all the allocations he is getting and IGR. |

LegendHero: True my Bro. The reality is that Nigeria has become like those remote tribes, who keep being discovered till today, that have lived ignorantly of civilisation and are today essentially cavemen the world has left far behind meaning the job bring them up to modernity will be hugely challenging as is facing Tinubu today. Because Previous Presidents were not brave, visionary and progressive enough in mentality, they endured with subsidy that kept Nigerians paying pittance for things like electricity supply, education etc whereas the world paid far more to gain optimal results and socio-economic development. The key, as you worked out, is to boost national economic health and productivity overall, in parity with what obtains worldwide, so this will secure increase in per capita income of Nigeria that will mean Nigeria can eventually afford paying what developed nation pay to live as optimally developed people. For example, someone with a good grasp of overarching issues will know it is pointless talking about what 30k, our previous minimum wage, could afford but more about the economic reforms needed to make minimum wage like 300 to 500k in the not too distant future. 1 Like |
