You are only teaching Nigeria policies that weaken the Naira against your own currency . Why not teach us how to generate electricity with small nuclear plants I have never seen a beneficiary who teaches his opponents how to win him in a game Never have I seen Guadiola of Man City teaching Arsenal or Man U coach how to win the EPL Trophy 2 Likes 1 Share |

It is not enough to say reforms should not be reverse. Suggest to Nigeria government on what is going to better improve the livelihood of Nigerians at this juncture. It shows how much world bank cares for the Nigerians. 2 Likes |

adenigga: Since when did world bank become part of Nigeria that we should always accept the garbage they bring hook like and sinker. The FG should vet their advice very well and pick only the ones useful to the country. Otherwise, they will land the government into big trouble. |

IMF is giving kudos to the federal government for removing subsidy on energy for its citizens. Na now I know say these guys no mean well for Nigeria, cos they themselves do subsidize a lot for their own citizens. They just want third world countries to continue to languish in extreme poverty. Why would they give thumbs up to an economic reform that has plunged more people into poverty? The IMF team should visit Nigeria and do an economic impact assessment of the reforms they are praising, and not depend on a reform on paper. 1 Like |

travelzcruix: Hahahah. They are a criminal organization don't you Know? They love dealing with criminal minded leaders and Africa has plenty of them. Why do you think they kept lending to Nigeria despite the outcry of the people? They lend the country money and take back 40% as charges then the criminals in power loot the same money and returns it to their agents the foreign banks. It a racket that perpetually enslaves the people but rewards the criminals in power and their masters the Bretton woods organizations. 3 Likes |

Any young economist knows it's better not to start a reform than to start and stop half way. It's like diagnosing a patient of malaria and typhoid, having a prescription for three weeks, commencing the treatment and stoping on the third day. The government can only think of modification but not reversal. Watch how refineries will spring up creating jobs because of subsidy removal. 1 Like |
