The rate at which this menace has increased lately is beyond comprehension and one minister would say he has performed.

Noise makers everywhere.

A lady that narrated her story lately at Brekete entered one chance twice in two weeks in the same Abuja.

They almost killed her.

Her case is buy 1 get 1 free promo 😂😂😂

When I was saying thus one chance is more important for wike to tackle instead of road people were insulting me. Other states have bad roads but they barely have this one chance epidemic. Wike needs to stop building roads and Channel the money to mass transit bus that can be controlled by nurtw is possible. The lagos model although annoying us the reason there is less crime in lagos despite the population.
u gat a point ooooo, one chance and kidnapping in Abuja are like five and six

Statistics shows that 95% of these gangs are all ibos.

Majority are ipob and obedients members.

I urge the FCT police to go after them and parade them for the whole world to see .

Exactly. If its to use the lagos method of nurtw control of drivers and then import mass transit busses or partner with a private company for mass transit bus operations. That would help, because almost every week people are victims of Abuja one chance

Don't worry, either it befalls you, or someone close to you, in which ever part of Nigeria you are in, same will happen to you.

Abuja is really more crazy than lagos. Cause tell me why they will jampack passengers like sardines and still charge high price.
Every motjerfuck that owns a private car is a driver. Why can't they implement a reliable transport system..

Very good info. I strongly believe posting a reward for information leading to the arrest of kidnappers or bandits will lead to the quick capture of these criminals. Imagine .... I'm part of a kidnapping or robbery gang ... and I'm given N50K for an operation ... what will I do if I see a million Naira reward for information? I'll snitch on them .... receive a million and walk free. If they snitch before me .... I go to prison. Reward can work .....but the corruption is too much ....wayyyy too much.

Abuja people and government need to see this.
Get rid of all this agberos first disguising as area council workers, that's one chance training ground.... Go to their offices in Wuse and area 1 and see the criminals working there....claiming they work for d government......

the reason is because of the high cost of living.... When I was in Abuja I usually pick people from duste alhaji to berger or utako, that's 3k, and when I'm returning from work I pick people again another 3k,that's 6k for fuel...... One chance people usually operate at Night, but they now operate in d day time... Na where wahala dey bdat

I boarded one recently, when I notice some strange things inside I quickly told them that I want to alight before I get to their operating spot. Scary stuff in Abuja.

The sad thing about this is that nobody cares, Civil Society groups will not protest against these and hold governments accountable to provide commercial buses for citizens

Mass transit buses are a good idea but I'm not sure Abuja people will readily enter them. One day, I entered a brt type bus on airport road and I wasn't impressed, I got to my destination 30 minutes later than my usual commute time.

They will gradually get used to it. The FCT minister just needs to work on designated bus stops for them. Those lagos brt types are more comfortable and better for FCT

This is one flaw in the FCT, no mass transit system like we have in Lagos.. Fashola tried in that aspect with BRT he brought to Lagos.

El-rufai introduced long buses similar to BRT when he was FCT Minister, but those ones now operate from Berger to outskirts like Nyanya. Asides that, you'll see few Coaster buses running same route, the rest are cabs and private vehicles. I hope the FCT Minister can look into this to secure residents of FCT and environs.

Bus stop shelter is another thing lacking in some parts of Abuja, and this contributes to people falling victim, especially when it rains.

It's a culture thingy, Abuja wants to get there fast so they'll readily choose a private car going their way over a long coaster bus that will stop on all bus stops to fill up before starting the journey.

Aspiring ingrate, so this menace now has erased all he has done since he assumed office? Why do you people play politics with everything, including security? You may even be part of the perpetrators.
