Why your fuel was cheap in the first place was cos of subsidy. You'd have to take that to your government why they ain't paying subsidy to Dangote to make it cheaper for you.

The industry now seems fully deregulated. Probably why you're seeing many people scrambling to set up refineries in Nigeria now. Something people have been clamouring for a long time.

At least our economy would gain a lot in keeping our Forex to ourselves for better investments instead of wasting it on subsidy that the elites enjoy the benefits the most. It would shore up our reserves especially with the planned export of petroleum products overseas especially if we somehow become a net exporter with the number of refineries being planned to come online.
