It happened in broad daylight too in most of the places I mentioned.

Search for NaijaConfra on Telegram, u will see gory pictures of cultism-related killings all over the country. You will shudder.

It was in the afternoon they cut one guy head and placed his severed head on Ijoko bridge for people to see

Nawa oooh. Government should declare emergency on cultism

What and what exactly has APC done right in the past 10 years sef ? undecided
The current grid infrastructure is crying for help, but APC is too busy with stomach infrastructure schemes to give it needed attention.

True, government needs to do something urgently. They even killed one councillorship candidate in Abeokuta recently simply he belongs to a rival cult group.

The report is saying over $1.4billion loan for infrastructure was disbursed within that 10-year window period o.

It's only in Nigeria that u will see government spend billions in dollars on refinery TAM and the refinery will refuse to work; we will spend billions of dollars on electricity infrastructure and power grid keeps collapsing.

If you ask for answers, they will call u wailer.

Nigeria supplies Togo, Benin 24-hour power supply – TCN

The Managing Director and CEO of the Transmission Company of Nigeria, Sule Abdulaziz, has disclosed that Nigeria supplies 24-hour electricity to neighbouring countries Togo and Benin, amid ongoing discussions in the country following a recent power grid collapse.

“We supply Togo, Benin, and Niger. They get power from Nigeria on a 24-hour basis, and they are paying for it,” Abdulaziz stated during an appearance on Channels TV’s Politics Tonight program on Sunday.

How do we supply Benin & Togo 24 hours power supply and we don't have same in Nigeria?

I come in peace.

I want to get something straight. How many hours of electricity does a provider supply an area designated as "Band A"?

If it is at least 20 hours per day, how come people complain about the prices since it is almost constant? And protest if their area is about to be designated Band A? Two, how come industries still have to face diesel issues when Band A areas are available across every state (please correct me if I am wrong)? Or is Band A only meant for residential areas?

Thank you.

Thank you to everyone who responded.

As a result of recent events, another question came up within my mind. The national grid has collapsed twice (maybe thrice?). Does this affect Band A areas/customers as well? If yes, what's the severity like? Lessened or as everyone else?

Thank you.

The national grid collapse affects everybody from Band A to Band Z. Once the national grid cannot supply the Disco's, obviously the Dicso's will be unable to supply their customers on the respective bands.

Once the national grid is restored, the Band A people will be amongst the first set of people to be prioritized by the Disco's to get supplied before any other group of customers.

Maybe because they have the infrastructure in place to transmit the power we supply them...we are only able to transmit to the grid half of what we generate.

I agree with you on the bolded 100%. Joining a cult group because of oppression is the dumbest excuse anyone can give for joining a cult.

Its not that easy especially for a young teenager wey no get backup, get money or get influence. I have been in that situation before and we were oppressed badly because na only mouth we carry go gang fight

One of my friends was writing GCE, A set of guys outside the exam hall was trying to throw paper to their friend inside the hall. but the paper fell close to my friend and they started shouting to him to pick the expo paper and pass it to their friend, he didnt answer them rather kicked the paper away. After the exam see as the guy and his gangs like 12 descended on my friend

I was so angry and felt so helpless. At that point I would have done anything including juju to get even

There was also a guy that some area boys rapeed his sister. Think about this in Nigeria where you are helpless. Oppression can make you do some things

You never see where you go dey waka for street and some small boys go just stop you and tell you to remove your shirt sneakers and wristwatch say dem like am. You dey follow babe, some boys g tell you to kneel down for motion ground, you dey eat some go take away your meat or beer, you dey waka go some go just stop and obtain you

How many of this can a young man face before he decides that fvvck it, I cant take this anymore lets give them fire for fire

One stupid guy that I watched his interview after he was arrested in Ogun state, he claimed he joined cult because middlemen were always running away with his yahoo money knowing he can't do them anything as a jew. So he joined cult to forstall that.

Unfortunately for him, he didn't even spend more than few months as member before a killing happened and the police anti-cultism group went on arrest spree. Na so dem arrest the weyrey without enjoying any benefits from the cult grin

Some people sef dey blend for NYSC camp, I come dey wonder if na your oga for work you wan dey go do cultism for?

Lagos State arrests Celebrant, Event planner, food vendor, sound engineer and musician for obstructing traffic and constituting nuisance while having a birthday party on a street at Ikoyi.

I know the street in Ikoyi ( Raymond Njoku) and that street is actually narrow even without hosting a party on the road. But I think only the Celebrant should've been arrested.

The Celebrant is the one who brought every other person together, she's the one that should've been arrested have her name published. Like someone rightly said, I don't think they would've arrested Pasuma or K1 if either of them was the musician performing at the event. Neither will they arrest a popular food vendor like Hilda Baci.

No be clear eye dem dey carry go do hit. When you don dey on Coloraado and Arizona, you no go know anything

I remember one Ileya festival for mid 2000s wey I don dey work, We dey shayo joint me and my friends gather. Some of our friends belong to different cult groups in school. After some beer don enter body na so dem begin dey banter themselves. "Ah Aye no fit stand where me I dey for school", "Dem no born any Eye born well" That kain talk

Unknown to them some younger cult boys dey hear, Na so one of those small boys just show say hailed his Eye people for our table and said "Shey any Aye dem show themselves here". Na so one of our guys wey be Aye just bust bottle on his head instantly
Before you know things gbege don start. Light don off, bottle don dey crack. People don dey make calls to their friends wey dey house say make dem dey bring metals come

My life just flashed for my eyes, say cult no catch me for school, not for NYSC na when I don dey work dem wan catch me. The speed I take disappear from that joint. Na for bus stop dem see me. One of my friends wey be fellow jew sef we fled together. When we dey the bus stop na so we see like 15 okada filed and coming with the backup boys wey dem don summon

I come dey wonder say how will I report to work with bottle stabs on my body, what will I tell my manager or colleagues. From that straight to my house to sleep

Yahoo reduced cultism fr some time. In my time when there was no yahoo, Na cultism and gangsterism be the main flex. Its either you join or endure the oppression or stay inside house. Your time its likely yahoo boys and their cars go be the main flex.

Maybe yahoo no dey cash out again na why cultism start to rise. But for street, as a young man, people must oppress you with something either violence or money

You may not be far from the truth. When were in school, cultism reduced drastically due to the fact most boys were more interested in making Yahoo money and going to G12 bar oniru and other clubs on the Island to lavish money.

Even till now cultism in schools is not what it used to be in the late 90's and early 2000's , but cultism on the street is worse. Most of those killings that are being reported these days are street cultism related.

For example there's been serious cult in Abeokuta for over 2 months now and recently it claimed the life of a councillorship candidate. There's cult war in Ijoko and even that Atan-Ota axis in Ogun state. All of these clashes are street cult matters; most of the people involved are artisans, traders and transporters. There's this "Alaroye" page that always interview them when they are paraded at the force headquarters or State CID in eleweran, Abeokuta.

I'm guessing the guys on the streets, all they understand is killing each other.

These particular set of guys are a whole lot of things rolled into one. You will see one person being an Okada rider, he robs once in a while, he does NURTW job and also makes himself available as political thug during election. Then you start wondering how those so called "confraternities" manage to have such character as a member and they claim they are not violent cult groups.

My laptop and phone got stolen in school, I knew the thieves and reported to the school authorities

A public school? How did the phone and laptop get stolen?

Were u staying in off campus or school hostel? I'm asking because I was wondering why u reported to the school authority instead of using other means to recover the stolen items.
