Do you see the Christians today creating a Crusade over it? No. The whole of the Turkey area was once a Roman and Hellenic enclave and as part of the Eastern Roman Emipre, with Constantinople the capital of the Greek Bytantine Empire....we now see the results of the crazy Islamic invasions that have now turned Turley into a Muslim majority country so far removed from their Hellenic Greek roots. So for centuries the Muslim invaders focused on the population centers of Damascus and Instanbul in that part of the world to the utter neglect and desertaion of the backwater of current day Israel. In 1867, the Americnan writer, Mark Twain visited the Holy Land (Israel to be precise) and was not impressed. HE witnessed and empty deserted treeless dry infertile waste land. Here are images below. Christians were never promised a SPECIFIC LAND on earth as part of the New Covenant. But the Jews were from the Old Covenant. And that part of the promise by God to Abraham was not nullified by the new Covenant. In fact, God has used Israel's relationship with the land of Israel as some sort of "time clock" both in the fulfillment of Prophecy and also a harbinger towards prophecies to do with the End of the World. Because the owners of the land have now returned to (through sweat and blood from wars) claim back what is theirs does not make them what you are painting.Mark Twain even explained that there were always Jews back in Israel--yes even back in 1867. Lots of Jews bough lands from the Arabs who were not even interested in the waste land because in the Arab mind, they can always move to Syria, Egypt, Lebanon or anywhere else. The Israeli waste land was not of great significanse to them at the time. They just wanted money. I suppose what really changed so far is how the Jews have over time transformed the land from being a waste land to being a fruitful productive land--and even this is a fulfillment of prophecy. So the challenge to you is: If you are willing to accept some Muslim nomadic people from Turkmenistan who later settled and formed the Ottoman Empire over once Christian heritage lands....and you have no fuss over that....why are you so angry that the Jews who have been there for more than 5000 years will legitimately claim back what is theirs? 2 Likes 1 Share
