Itsrm:Starlink only needs break into MTNs top paying client base and they're already doing that. Also people can create networks with neighbors to lift the burden of that monthly sub, so it's even cheaper than what you'd get with MTN and the likes. Maybe the only challenge might be remote management you mentioned, but with screen sharing apps and other means of sending real-time updates, it shouldn't be too much of an issue, besides a lot of these companies have IT persons on-staff. The only real limitation I see is that unlike MTN and the likes, it's not mobile. |

BlueRayDick:I get, I'm just saying their problem might even be bigger than whatever stiff taxation policies the FG is introducing. |

TrebleChamp:I don't know if people like Reno Omokri don't think sha, cause his disloyal anybody buttering my bread game is obvious for every one to see, and I'm sure the people he's in their camp currently would harbor some disgust. Reno might be talented at propaganda and creating narratives, but at that level people would more often than not pick the less talented but more loyal person. 6 Likes |

Theflint1: thats the game of 'disruptors' everywhere. i understand it now. when the competition is dead, they now start cracking down on sharing network and nickel and diming customers who now have nowhere else to go. |

GloriousGbola:Lol, well you're right...let's see how it goes. |
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 11:05am On Oct 24 |
Theflint1: People like Reno can never be committed to one employer, they are gun-for-hire type of contract staff. He didn't even wait for Atiku to lose at the presidential tribunal before he started riding on Tinubu's diick. I'm sure someone like Tinubu is wise enough to keep him at arm's length knowing fully well that Reno is never really loyal to anyone but his pocket and personal interest. Today he's singing "Hosannah" and the next day he's chanting "crucify him". 4 Likes |

Theflint1: tinubu is a pure politician - no permanent enemy only permanent interests if obanikoro who had the military harass apc duing the ekiti elections and who sent soldiers to park outside tinubus house could be back in apc, and his son running under apc, the only person who has fked with tinubu and has suffered well for it is dino melaiye - likely because the foolish man dragged tinubus wife into it |
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Theflint1(m): 11:10am On Oct 24 |
GloriousGbola:I don't think him being a pure politician means he won't be cautious. He might throw Reno a bone, maybe keep him on contract even, but if you've shown yourself to be as disloyal as Reno, sensible thing is to keep you at arms length. Plus there's too many people on that queue for Reno to expect to jump to the front simply because of his superior nuisance value...pure politicians need a core of loyalists too. |
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by GloriousGbola: 11:19am On Oct 24 |
Theflint1: Definitely same happened with FFK FFK briefly joined APC in 2013/2014 insulated gej - left apc, insulted APC then returned again Atiku has been in and out of APC like a revolving door . with all his dollars and his henchmen he could not clinch nomination keeps your fiends close -your enemies closer and your frenemies --- |

Theflint1: My entire family use 100k-150k data a year. Means at our usage which is even above average, at least, 9 families have to share the cost of starlinks annual sub before it starts getting cheaper. How exactly are you going to connect 9 families to one starlink without incurrring additional cost? How many of them will always pay as at when due? What of the security risk? Let's not even forget that beyond a certain threshold, starlink will throttle your speed. Your scrensharing solution is not realistic and inefficient especially for large networks. You mean a network administrator in the Lagos head office of Total energies will ask his IT staff in all their onshore and offshore locations to connect laptop to implement changes? 1 Like |

Itsrm: fight go start because of different habits. before one of your neighbours streams CP and you get in trouble for it . or someone torrents unreleased cut of a movie. i dey drag with my kids who fk up all of my attempts at data management. delaying downloads till 11pm so the subscription will last only to find that they have run through the data. now take that and multiply it anyway starlink is first and foremost an ISP for people with large amounts of disposable income - like the flint1. 1 Like |

Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 11:44am On Oct 24 |
Theflint1: I'm sure the management of MTN are not unaware of the risks inherent in the entrant of disruptors like Starlink into their market. Most big multinationals like MTN have a fully functional Risk Management team that assess and manage all forms of risks faced by the company ranging from operational risks, liquidity risk, credit risk, market risk, reputational risk etc. In short they would've set in motion different risk management measures to manage such risk. What they they don't want is the FG springing a surprise on them with another round of taxation that will do their books dirty.(which the telecom tax will definitely do) 1 Like |

BlueRayDick:Exactly, he's trying to be the FFK of his time with half the talent of FFK, he'd get burnt. Even FFK that normally should be coming into his stride at the age he is seems like a politician that's retired several donkey years ago. He should just pray PDP does not take over power in 2027 sha, cause e go too yet for outside. |

Theflint1: You think any of these politicians really believe anyone likes them? You are from Edo, Oshiomole, Obaseki, Ize Iyamu, Igbinedion Kabaka etc see how they have moved around that you cant even say who is for and against who anymore Same thing with Atiku, Tinubu, Kwankwanso they have all rotated around so much that you don't even know who is who. Almost everyone around Tinubu today has been against him at some point before Reno Bwala Okonkwo, FFK Dele Momodu all the known mouthpiece and pen for hire have been for and against Tinubu/APC at some point If you are going into politics with the mentality of permanent and unwavering loyalty then you are in for a rude shock. 1 Like |
