If you're still unsure, you can screenshot your dashboard so others can assist you further.

They use this method of no updating of DS160 to deal with agent who sell dates. They can’t update for their clients who they sell date for.

what if the DS 160 was not filled on the old portal, but the number was generated from ustraveldocs.(Old portal). I don't think there will be any record for them to even look at in the first place,except they just want to set an example with applicants as you have opined.
Let's hope they keep improving their processes.

It’s extremely fustrating that after making payment since Sep 6th, all calls and chats with the customer reps have yielded no resolution.

saw this in the student visa discussion. I guess it’s risky. Also if you have number 0 and you change to letter “o” on your passport it goes😂.

Me: 1 year and 2 months
VO: What do you do?
Me: I work at XYZ
VO: How did you come to the UK
Me: I came on a skilled worker visa from my home country
She was typing a lot. Didn’t even look up to see my face
VO: Why are you going to the US?
Me: For vacation
VO: Have you traveled anywhere since you came to the UK?
Me: Yes. I’ve been to France and Spain.
She asked me where specifically in both countries (at this point she was now looking at my face but I guess she had made up her mind)
I answered Paris and Barcelona. I went further to say Disneyland and she said I should show her pictures of me and some of the characters in Disneyland which I didn’t have.
To end the interview this woman asked me when I came to the UK again.
This time I gave her the actual date I arrived.
Madam went on another typing spree and after about a minute or so denied me quoting American laws and 214b about me not having enough ties
I thanked her and left.
Honestly I’m not angry at all.

Good afternoon, to reschedule you simply just click on reschedule it will take you to the calendar so you can view and check for more recent dates , you can actually click to check as often as you like but once you have used up all your reschedule options you will not be able to view the calender again . so since you have 30th Jan , you will be looking to get any date in Nov or Dec or early Jan .

Yes, I also experienced the same thing. All you need to do is keep checking them. Sometimes, a new time slot will be added, and you can just be lucky to be online when that happens and you get a recent date. While I was going through all the dates and getting the same error message I clicked on a date in December and it went through, so don't give up just keep checking.

In this case you mentioned hmm I doubt if it’s not automatic refusal. What I notice they are trying to do is make sure you fill once and you fill right. No story changing so if you are filling make sure you understand what you fill and what you are doing. If not it’s gone and I don’t think they will allow upgrading of DS160 again because of this appointment stuff agent messed it up. And people buying the date.

He asked her questions about her job and where she would be staying.

Please anyone experiencing same issues on the USVISAAPPT website? Backstory: The migration email took a long time to reach me, so out of curiosity, I went ahead and created an account. I followed each step until the MRV payment section, where I realized I was inadvertently setting up a new account (despite having an existing one on the old website). Once I realized this, I deleted the new account. A week later, the migration email finally arrived. I tried logging in following the instructions, but it’s been impossible—I keep getting the message, "User is inactive".
