My Admission On The Line Please Help!!! by Yemade029: 11:17pm On Oct 27
Good day everyone my Name is Adeolu and I'm in need of HELP!!!!

I got admitted into the university about two weeks ago after try and error for 4yrs. Now something is about to take that away from me which is my acceptance fee. I'm supposed to pay the sum of N50,000 (Fifty thousand naira, aside remita and cafe charges) within 2weeks of my admission, and my due date is 31st of Oct. which I've tried all means to get without any result.
I dont know what could happen if I lose this admission(i forbid it)
I have no means of getting this money anywhere, thats why I'm pleading for help from any God sent here. You do not necessarily need to send me the money as it could be paid online by any cybercafe, I'll be providing all necessary infomation needed to do that. All I need is just the receipt of payment.

This was hard for me to do I just had to try my luck. I will be forever gratefull if my request is granted.
Thank you

I want to state a fact but you might think I am heartless. There is no wisdom in you being desperate to claim the admission when you don't have money for tuition fees, accommodation and feeding. If you beg for ₦50,000, I wonder what you will do to raise school fees, pay hostel fee and feed yourself for four or five years in the university. I have not even talked about you buying handouts and doing other expenses during the academic program. Be wise, go to school at the right time. Spending more years at home before going to school and going to school when you are financially ready is better than you going to school now and dropping out after a year or two years. Entering school late and graduating is much better than going to school early and dropping out because of hardship.

I would have helped you but like one of the op said
Since you’re begging for money to pay acceptance fee what will you do to buy books
Pay school fees
Accommodations
Transport etc
I dropped out of school cause at that time I know it not worth it cause of my financial constrain
Sometimes y’all should use your head
Education is expensive
You’re not financially boyant and you wan go school and then waste your 4 or 5 years and still struggle to get a job in this bad economy

Bro leave school
Go look for a profitable skill in the tech industry
When you’re balanced them you can go back to school

School don’t determine how successful you’re going to be in life
Don’t waste your life away
It not worth it for now

That is a defeatist 's way of thinking. Life is a step at a time. When I entered school, things were easier than now but very harsh on me. I took the step of faith ( I wasn't religious at that time) wrote the JAMB, with the mind that in the future, I would show my children I got admission to study engineering and my WASC . Then help came. I finished that one. I vowed never to go back to school, after five years, I went back for, Masters degree. It was even harsher. I finished.

A friend bagged PhD last year, she was desperate to be educated, agreed to marry a man much older than her, the man promised to sponsor her. Today, the end justifies the means.
So Sir, the young lad is in pursuit of a great destiny.

Don't discourage him.

Please moderators put it on the front page.
I know there are kind hearted Nairalanders that can help. If capable give scholarship, please give.

Moderators, thanks in advance.

You are just ranting as if I discourage the guy from going to school. I advised him based on personal experience. I wrote JAMB 4 times and my lowest JAMB score was 198. For the first two attempts, I could not afford screening form for the universities I chose. My first screening exam attempt was with the 3rd JAMB and I got admission in UNN but could not afford the school fees. To cut the story short, I am now a graduate from the most prestigious private university in Nigeria. But it took me 9 years and some months to enter that university. It is not how fast but how well. No part of my comment says the guy should lose interest in education.

Oga go and work, you can't afford this admission. Stop looking for people to waste their money or ask for more and more if your story is true.

The country is currently not a joke for anyone.

What happened to your parents, guardians and neighbours. Why did you come here?
