South Africans React To Chidimma Adetshina's Citizenship Revocation by RandDigital: 10:05am On Oct 30
A majority of South Africans on the Eyewitness News social media page responded with glee to reports that Chidimma and her mother's SA citizenship would be revoked. Some also questioned the fate of her father who has Nigerian heritage.

They have called for arrests of all involved including the government officials who alledgedly issued them with documents at the centre of an investigation into identity fraud.

Chidimma - Miss Universe Nigeria 2024 - was born in South Africa to a Mozambican mother who later gained South African citizenship.

No problem. You guys can go ahead

Having issue with Nigeria is more like having issue with African countries in whole because they will never look our eyes. Ghanaians are our long time paddi even for the fact we don't share border.

I am just hoping the South Africans won't cry foul by the time this brouhaha ricochet

I'm indifferent about this

If truly shes an illegal immigrant, why does it take them this long to their investigation and swing into full action?

My grouse tho,is seeing them jubilate over this like they just won the World cup

I used to think its just online banter and nothing serious. Seems they've taken it to another level.

This is deep hate.

Which African countries would support you people in this when they know they could be the victim next time.

South Africans better think twice before bitten more that they can chew.

Alreadily, you want to deport two dual Nationals, that's having issue with two countries for a start

Those African countries would first have to ask themselves if a crime was or was not committed in SA (identity fraud).

Nigeria should carefully identify one or two African countries that she can effectively bully, and use them as examples to make other African countries, big or small, factor certain things into considerations before taking actions on matters involving Nigeria and Nigerians. We can make South Africa sweat. They're not too big for that treatment. They are actually making more money here, and we make zero money from their country, as we dont have any major Nigerian companies operating there..

If they continue being rude and grossly anti Nigeria, the Nigerian authorities should make their imperialists proxy outlets here to sweat a lil bit. Most of their companies are hugely responsible for capital flights out of Nigeria anyways, and are also very much replaceable. Force the hands of their policy makers by letting them know you can hit them somewhere. Increase their taxes, reduce their presence in the juicy parts of the Nigerian economy. That will force the hands of the policy makers, who are the majority shareholders in these companies.

Please is deporting them going to solve the problems in South Africa? What have you people done about Inzikabi, the hired killers? Those who are stealing government properties in broad day light , what have you done about it. The Ita which have been menace to the South Africans, have they been eradicated?

If you guys want to be petty about this, then expect us to treat you in a very bad manner from henceforth.

Enough of all the shenanigans from you guys. We are only waiting for trigger, we are getting back at all those Xenophobic nonsense which affected almost all nationalities in Africa

South Africans. Repellent xenophones and bigots. See how they hound this young lady relentlessly like a bloodthirsty lynchmob yet docile to their white masters.

A disgrace to black Africans. Ingrates the rest of black Africa, including Nigeria, sacrificed to free from apartheid.

So SA shouldn't deal with identity fraud because there are other crimes being committed? Are you listening to yourself? In that case nigeria shouldn't deal with skull mining because there are kidnappers to sort out first. Try another line.

Your comment shows you are likely to perish in foolishness. So you expect online banter to go on with transcending into real life.

Is it not the same thing happening btw Yoruba n Igbos now ? Do you have any idea how many proactive steps policies that Yorubas are actively taking to stop the foolish insult by all this igbos.

Continue think your father can insult anybody online n expect them to smile at your foolishness when you meet in real life.

Another senseless comment, it's not only deep hater na. Chronic hate. South Africans do not hate Nigerians as their are over 100000 nigerians living in SA without committing identity fraud. SA as every right to revoke the fraudulent papers a fraudster illegally n fraudulently acquire.

These black lazy enslaved SAns are still masturbating in chidinmas case?

They should come to Nigeria and arrest her, or when she represent Nigeria at international stage, they can attempt the arrest, very anyhow people.

I won't forget how yoruba people sided with SAns to drag chidinma when the case was rife, south Africans who clearly don't give a shiiit if you are yoruba or igbo, as long as your Nigerian, you are marked for hate and destruction.

here did the poor child go wrong.

She was born in SA and raised in SA, when she was old enough, she sought to represent SA.

Black South Africans used their Xenophobia to push her out.

They threatened her like they have been threatening other contestant of mixed heritage.

She quit the show, got invited by Nigeria, if they are normal, that ends it.

No, they followed her to Nigeria and started voting in Miss Universe Nigeria, calling bolt rides.

The girl moved on to win Miss Universe Nigeria and now in Mexico, they have returned again. grin

She wil keep ignoring them and allow their conscience to judge them, that is if they got one.

The deafening silence is more powerful than anything she could say or words.

Let us go and vote Oooo

This girl is a top 5 and that means we are winning it.

We have to show the desire to win with our votes .

Those of you abroad should give her at least 5odollars votes.

Those in Nigeria it is whatever you can afford.

Nigeria never won this and it is about that time we win.

Who South Africans help? Let them keep constituting nuisance online.

Nobody can deny Chidinma was not born in South Africa.

Her mother from Mozambique met her father from Nigeria there in South Africa.

Now the claim is her mother has a mother from South Africa.
