He's most likely not 101 years old.

Not up to 10 people in Nigeria are over 100 years old if there's any.
If nothing meaningful in your empty skull to contribute simply sympathise with the dead and move on.

Lol.

We live longer than those before us. Most of our ancestors couldn't even make it to 25.

It was why people had many children because they definitely expected most to not make it past the age of 2.

An infection that ampicilin could cure wiped out most families.

Thanks to science, we now live better.

People had many children because a persons wealth was determined by the amount of children the person had..

Many people in Nigeria are over 90 years old..

The life expentancy you're quoting was written by Europeans who do everything to ensure black people don't live long so such statistics is expected from them..

Lol okay na 😂

Men of the old have myths, legends but don't equate those tales with facts.

If anybody living in the enclave known as Nigeria in 1920 made it past the age of 80 that year, it will only mean that a year wasn't 365 or 366 days in their calendar.

I hope you don't genuinely believe that Methuselah lived for 969 years grin?

Life expectancy in Nigeria is about 56 years.

Most Nigerians die before the age of 56.

This is fallacious. If you are talking about people in town, but those in the villages, there are many above 100 years. I was opportuned to visit Ogbaru LGA in Anambra state, I saw many of them eating natural food, drink original spirit, smoke weed.

His role in Tunde Kelani's film SAWOROIDE (Brass Bell) is the best for me, especially when he was sent to kill Adebomi, the heir to the throne of Olujogbo.

He knocked the door, Adebomi opened the door and Agbako said
Agbako: "woni eyin Le nda Oba laamu?
Adebomi: haa! Awa ke! Ati Gba kamu
Agbako: eeti Gba kamu, isin in lee waa Gba kamu, fun won ni kamu lokankan and he killed Adebomi, his wife but left his 5 years old so that grew up to become Aresejabata played by KUNLE AFOLAYAN.

If you haven't watched SAWOROIDE please get it from Mainframe Production Website.

The movie was released In 1996 stand to be corrected

An evergreen Movie that talks about the political state of Nigeria.

RIP to Baba Charles Olumo (Agbako)

Believe what U may bro... I just gave U two instances of men who are in my family tree who crossed a 100 and even my maternal grandma, it's only my paternal grandma that was about 87 when she died. I see what Ur trying to raise but I don't have time to convince U otherwise. So whatever makes U feel good just believe in it

Nope..

Only Nigerians that have cancer or die in an accident, child birth complications or an illness they are managing die before the age of 56.

The bold does not negate the influence of natural selection and "survival of the fittest" as it regards birth rates in pre-colonial Africa.

For instance, we are more prone to sickle cell Anaemia which used to be Obanje, Abiku and other concepts in our languages.

A typical AS dominated family who married other carriers knew they had to marry more wives and give birth to as many children as possible to stand a chance for having successors.

If they were sure that all their children would live past 5, they would have fewer children.

Another angle is the effect of misogyny. A typical father of 15 daughters would not stop procreating until he had a son.

Stop speaking ignorantly, thousands of people living in Nigeria are 100 years plus. In my little village alone, we have more than 30 that are above 100 years including my step mum. I'm fact, we 125 years old woman still alive and strong.

No woman is 125 years old in your village.

Your step mother is not 100 years old.

People with sickle cell will live longer in pre-colonial Africa than now due to the fact there were more trees and more natural foods than now. More trees mean access to more oxygen which improves blood flow.

Lol.

I doubt.

It is a documented fact that most Nigerians do not have the sufficient IQ to understand simple figures.

Follow my conversation on this thread and you'll see a young man who claims that there are up to 30 people in his Village that are above the age of 100, including his step-mother.

He also claims that there is a 125-year old in his Village.

The late actor's family are likely to be filled with such people who do not understand basic figures based on the average Nigerian IQ.
