Wike is like the devil. He doesn't give anything for free.
He is doing all these just to make sure he wins FCT and Rivers State for Tinubu in 2027 so as to stay relevant politically.

That is a greater priority for the ogogoro shacking loquacious character than employing technicians, engineers, administrators, credit controllers etc to make water flow into every building in the FCT.

How do we end up with this kind of leaders looters in our country

FCT: Water Scarcity Hits Kado-Kuchi Community

Residents of the Kado Kuchi area in Kado District of Abuja in the FCT have, for the past few weeks, faced acute water shortage as a result of faulty pipes.

The residents said the situation had thrown the community into a crisis as they now scouted for water from any available source.

A resident, Aminu Yaro, said that all efforts made to get the pipes fixed yielded no result.

Of course a lot of Nigerians don't see any issues with such behaviour.

They'll say "if na you, your friends and loyalists no go benefit first?"

The inherent selfishness, myopism and cryonism plaguing the average African in particular.

Not knowing that the way criminal politicians like Wike handle smaller projects like this is the same way the bigger ones go - awarded to friends, cronies and fellow criminals in power.

A stunted country full of mostly fools.

Tinubu, Mr T-Pain should do away WITH INEC.
Adopt only a one Party State.
Cancel all the Electoral processes
Save Public Funds .
President should be Selected on Rotation.

They should share their data to conclusively prove that the 80 recipients are exclusively APC loyalists. However it must be said also that provided the loyalists-so called, cut across all regions and ethnicities of Nigeria, then there is no legal ground for complaints. Loyalists are Nigerian citizens after all.

You take money from our common patrimony, billions of naira, and you distribute to party members in the name of rewarding "loyalty".

The scary part is that majority of Nigerians think just like you. And we wonder why the country is the poverty capital of the world?

I'm neither disappointed nor surprised. You people's suffering is just warming up.

I said it!
Wike is strategic conman, in other words smart thief.
There's no good he does without ulterior motives.
If you know the kickbacks he steals from projects you would preferred they weren't executed.

Nonsensical talk. What Wike did was a youth empowerment scheme by way of taxi driving.
Now to take a brief detour, note that the word used was "loyalist" which is a broad term you've disingenously switched out for "party member" in order to make your tedious point.

And in case you want to embarrass your education by claiming not to get the distinction, the difference is that loyalist is such a vague term that even someone who merely posts on twitter that they support a certain party could be called a loyalist. Is that a reasonable basis to deny someone an economic opportunity?

This is the bottom line: Are there 80 less unemployed youths today as a result? If yes, that's what matters no whether they are APC "loyalists"

Take it or leave it.

Of course that's all that matters.

Same way criminal governors inflate contracts to build flyovers, airports and roads to nowhere. But all that matters according to you, is that "they were built".

Like I have said many times on this forum, with people who think like you being in the majority, I frankly don't see a way out for Nigeria.

There is no parallel with the procurement fraud you allude to and what the minister has done here because, as I have pointed out, what the law requires is respect for federal character not political parties.

I understand what you think your point is but you're wrong.

It's called an analogy and I expected it to be beyond your comprehension.

If there is no transparency and integrity in a small "youth empowerment" programme of maybe a couple 100 millions in Naira, you expect integrity, accountability and transparency in bigger programmes running into hundreds of billions?

Or maybe those qualities are beyond the comprehension and imagination of the average Nigerian like yourself; which would be a tragedy in itself.

I also expect this point to be beyond your comprehension.

I will not bother to respond to you further.

You are right Mr SmartyPants smiley

Well your heart is in the right place but the real problem you have is that you are an olodo.

That's probably why you don't know that when you compare two unlike terms in order to make analogy, you have committed the logical fallacy called faulty analogy. Google it so you don't repeat it.

That's probably also why you have concluded on the basis of a 3 paragraph statement bereft of details, that there was no transparency in the program. In fact, how could the so called investigators have investigated the recipients if the award was not transparent to some degree?

As to your 'threat' not to respond to me again. cheesy Did I mention you or you mentioned me? What makes you think I've even taken notice of your username? What a moro.n you are!

Truth. Some Nigerian can't think properly again because of sentiment. As long as the beneficiaries are Nigerian youth, Wike has not done anything bad.

You think those Loyalists are the ones that need it most?

Why do you think poverty keep rising despite the billions that Govt claim to spend on poverty alleviation?

Actually sad reading through the comments. Mostly from presumably youth as well, who think leaders can get into office and distribute resources meant for everyone, preferentially to a few friends. Some folks with warped minds actually think that is okay?
I really shudder to imagine what the futures like, it is well.

You have a problem. Of all the issues bothering FCT, the important thing is to dash loyalists vehicles. Abuja lacks mass transit bus, which leads to one chance thriving. The over inflated cost they would have put down for those 80 vehicles can buy 20 coaster bus to help ease transportation at an affordable rate since most people live far away from their place of work.

Once again you have a problem.
you wen no get problem, the vehicles is not for commercial transportation but to dey carry oloshos for Abuja. Una know pass everybody yet una dey stagnant for one place dey complain for everything . Yeye people
