emmanuelewumi: What is the rule on payment of dividends by non-bank institutions? Can they pay dividends out of profits for current year even though retained earnings is in negative? That might determine how soon Oando may pay dividends ....for those who are interested in dividends in the short term |

Ginalex: Who knows Morgan capital before? SMN made them what they are today. Their founder Late Mr Adu used to be with us at SMN then. Reducing their fees to 0.5% helped their ministry. If the man is still alive,he would have been a member of Nsempa. He made use of vital information from top members of our forum to build his firm. He always apologize when there are glitches. Today the firm is doing well even without his presence. Morgan capital made us to know about Jijo. Jijo originated from TA. When every broker reduce their fees to 50%,TA will control more than 50% of our market. Long term investors who rely on FA will never like this 4 Likes 1 Share |

There’s nothing wrong with the company, it is very solid and it pays good dividends. There was a release in Bloomberg today, the SPDC deal is even back on. If you’re an investor, you won’t be worried about dips in a strong stock, unless you’re gambling, but some people jumped in thinking they’d make quick money. I’m just clearing the air in case people think I was MH. I advised on everything down to the risks Agbalowomeri: 3 Likes |

designking: From N800 - N150 is impossible, the worst case Aradel can get is N400. If you are waiting at N150 junction, train will leave you behind. This is no prophesy, after Monday, forget about 10% loss. All that left us will start rushing back and before you know it we are back in the upward trend. 2 Likes |

I said the result would be released at the close of business today, Wale for prove us wrong by releasing the result before the close of business. Aradel said they would release their result on Wednesday 30th of October 2024 and they did without postponement, that is how you know a serious company sho won't take shareholders for granted 7 Likes |

jonnysessy: That is my prayer. I have been buying 1,500 units every time it dips 10%. The downward trend is only caused by sellof by a major shareholder. The fundamentals remains intact. Aradel is still a very good share to have. 1 Like |

Sunrisepebble: does it mean that after the stock was split into 20, all existing share holders had their units multiplied by 20 and the price remained at N751 without dividing the price correspondingly. if na so e happen, no be scam be that? |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by ositadima1(m): 5:06pm On Nov 01 |
jonnysessy: The big question is, why is it falling? How can you be sure that whatever is causing it to fall will stop at 400? This is why investing or trading is never guesswork. Do you have charts to support your claims? Have you conducted valuations to estimate its fair value? What is your angle? Doing MH without even knowing that you are doing MH. 2 Likes |

megawealth01: Please has Oando ever defaulted on any loans? I am asking because if Oando treats it creditors the way it treats its investors then they must have defaulted on their loans sometimes. If they have never defaulted on a loan then their commitment to listing in the market must be seriously questioned. 1 Like |

The price was divided by 20 and holdings multiplied by 20. The price before the split was 9,304, post split divided by 20 was 465 In the case of Transcorp which was the reverse, holdings divided by 4, price was multiplied by 4 vacanci: 1 Like |

For me I don't discuss newly listed stocks.I don't know them.It is when they are listed we know their real value. Mecure was listed at 2+.The free float was less than 5%.All they did was to move it to 15+. I bought mine at 9+ some weeks ago and sold at 11+. Na like this I go dey do my own dey go. Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by GeeKudi: 5:39pm On Nov 01 |
On the hindsight, what is happening with Aradel now, appears to be a conspiracy to make money off unsuspecting investors, and it is very unfair. You multiplied your OS by 20, pumped the resulting price by almost 100% and then present it to people as best thing after jellof rice. The promoters here may or may not have been part of this conspiracy but those who were able to avoid this monumental rip off largely owe it to the cautionary note from Sunrisepebble. I bought some units the day it became available and sold it after few hours with some profits to fuel my car. 5 Likes |

Locotrader: In 2008 FBN securities asked clients whose portfolio was less than N5 million to transfer their accounts to other houses. Cardinal Stone was newly established then, they just captured the clients given Red card by FBN securities, fast forward to 2020 and beyond Cardinal Stone started getting more businesses than FBN Securities 2 Likes |
